Faceless bureaucrats that more than likely have invested in stocks of these battery companies and their family members also . So would Insider trading laws apply to these bureaucrats recommending where Australians taxes are getting spent on.
Senator Gerard Rennick,.............- is a True Champion for the Australian people .................- He is honest,.......- honorable ,................-and truly sincere . Thankyou for work for us Mr Rennick ,
Let's let them pay for the first year and see if it's a really good idea 💡. Out of there own moneys but. Like us taxpayers do every dam day! 👍 thanks, Senator Gerard Rennick. His voice sounds 🎤 shakey shake. No his not has the amount to get it to work once Again! 😆Omy Lord.
Definitely, a sweet deal where the Government bureaucrats are either as stupid as they appear here or more likely intentionally hiding details of a nefarious contract.
Gee Senator Rennick this just shows that without people like you there, there is so much potential for blind waste of taxpayer money. And i hate how they are so antsy about not answering the questions
These people are spending money like there's an endless bucket. This is madness, grid connected batteries and no base load drivers. That's fine for short duration outages. seems to me like we're planning for blackouts. SOOOOOOOoooooooooo stupid.
They have no idea what they will cost how long they will run or whether its a cost effective idea but it does give them a warm fuzzy feeling to spend billions of tax payer funds for their pipe dreams . Gawd strewth. whats happened to this country ?
They are trying to make us insolvent, so we lose control of our natural resources, it is not fair that such a small population has such a large share of natural resources, the rest of the world need them more than we do. If the WEF have their way, Australia will just be one big mine. As for the bureaucrats, turn Canberra into a prison for traitors.
Someone is making serious bank, for a product that is essentially sitting holding charge for no reason as it's connected to the grid. If there was a power outage to the grid, you'd think they'd be useful, but i think for safety they'd need to be turned off until the grid was repaired.
Ooh. If I count them in smaller little groups and show that I can add up to 400, I won't need to answer the question or admit that the whole scheme is expensive foolishness.
Keep up the great work ! The Globalitarian Wolves' "green new deal" /"net zero"/clean energy" push (though noble sounding) is SUCH a threat to the livelihoods ,freedom & well-being of "we the people" & must be exposed to more of the population . THANK YOU SINCERELY for representing us so well by asking these vital questions ; DIGGING DEEPER on our behalf.
Senator asks:" do you guys have a conscirnce and at least 1 braincel?", they will take the answer on notice i guess. Health and wisdom, Erik the Netherlands
Batteries would have to be the worst possible environmental systems of power. The acids, elements, metals etc that go into them are problematic from mine/factory/use. Another words coal power is clean compared to batteries & all so-called renewables.
So pork barreling batteries then, perhaps to go into greens and teals so when the grid goes down they will still sit comfortable with lights and power and say that renewables are fine! While rest of the community sits in rolling blackouts? Will be interesting to see where these batteries going - 4kwhr in regions, 500kwhr in the gap perhaps?
My understanding here in the US. The batteries are in place to buffer times of high demand. They respond in mila-seconds they replace peeker plants. We have replaced gas & oil or coal peeker with batteries for the high load morning and evening runs. So two hour run times are good and ballance out the grid. Cheers from Northern California!! I support the good work Senator Rennick is doing for Australians. And if I may Kennedy for President in 24.
Typical of a Commiefornian to be indulgent of the climate-hoax, and also of an old-school liberal who's learnt well to conceal his more totalitarian socialist tendencies.
When our failing grid fails, these batteries as backup will enable householders to power a mobile phone or LED light. No oven, heater, cooler, kettle.... Life of the 'community' battery will depend upon how many are growing pot under halogen lights. More useful to hand out a candle and solar phone battery charger. This stupid lot could not organise a pissup in a brewery.
It’s obvious to me that the people providing the information to parliament know very little about the detail of their plans and do not consider all aspects of usage when giving estimates for cost. No wonder budgets blow out exponentially. They only seem to cost the grand plan, then discover the actual cost of energy when problems with building and usage arise together with the need to throw more money to surmount such problems. We must have the costs in total BEFORE determining whether such a move is effective and worth tax payer money. Further all contracts I believe should hold an accountability clause delivered x,y and Z (standard) by x (date) for $x or conditions to the detriment of the provider will apply.
how many firetrucks and suppression systems will be added to the figures quoted to cope with the explosions, bushfires and properties burning etc, caused by exploding batteries?
These people are arrogant & allergic to common sense. My house has a Tesla solar system/battery that contributes to the grid, it relies on the grid constantly to give my house power. I am very conservative with power, this is a waste of time money & harm to the environment to build then bury.
Notice questions requiring important information they cannot answer it? They are either concealing a system that wont work or are not fit for purpose. I am going the former.
Round n round the bush we go with all twists available so over to someone else Someone else must have the answer but dont really know Good one Senator Rennick
Senator i have a similar issue here in Perth with SOLAR NATURALLY PTY LTD. They have quoted $7,990 for an ALPHA ESS SMILE B3-5kWH battery, but cannot give me a straight answer on how long this battery will last after the sun goes down. I repeated my question multiple times but was instead sent a PDF brochure to refer to which you guessed it, does not answer this basic question. I have no clue as to what savings i would see and cannot compare what i would save vs the 8K battery. I already realise the climate change is a scam but it seems for profit businesses with government funding are spruiking a lot of lies
You have a chance to question the supplier and purchase or reject the goods, based on the info provided. Gov'ts have their hand in the taxpayers pockets - we get no rational explanation as to cost/benefits and we will be forced to pay for this ideological folly. Let's get rid of all the politicians who dance to the tune of the WEF and like minded unelected supranational bodies.
It’s not really a basic question, you need to divide your battery capacity by your daily consumption which will give you the number of hours your battery will supply you power. According to google the average single person household consumes 8kwh/day so for that household a “fully charged” 5kwh battery will run for 15 hours. You can find your average daily consumption on your power bill and do the math from there, take into consideration at least a 12 month cycle, some things you might want to consider, array size, inclement weather, daylight hours (less in winter), higher capacity or multiple batteries. And importantly cost.
@@Adlay_Eetswah during winter months we average 30kwh, slightly less during summer but we send back a lot of export power. We have had a couple winter days using 60kwh. So realistically, a 5kwh battery will run for 6hrs on average . And half of the year during winter it’s not going to charge up anyway . I’m shocked someone on RU-vid was able to answer my question and yet the bloke selling it cannot .
What is Medium Size Battery ? 250KWh or maybe 500KWh, or 1000KWh ??? Such statement is worth "0" in terms of information. Its a stupid answer by stupid pen pusher with no knowlage.
Robert Murray Smith water engine in common use in England before WWI. Recycling personal waste turning into heating cooking takes care of domestic market! (Flexi biogas). African villages smarter than consultant😢.
are these bureaucrats serious? The first year electrical technician could answer these questions. A 500 kW battery has approximately 400 kW of usable power. Our house uses .5 kW per hr, when everybody’s asleep. So that is 800 houses for one hour while everybody is asleep? this battery nonsense is just ludicrous.
I have discovered a new green energy generation mechanism. I need 1 billion $ subsidy from the government (tax payers) to get it off the ground. I don’t have exact details about it off the top of my head. Please leave government grant at the following account……. Thank you.
Nuclear energy.. is the best.... so far.. but having battery locations in remote areas with renewables is hte most logical where your large cities and power systems cannot reach... Changing over everything would be kind of stupid. Now, gravity fed electricity for low power output, from a water tower, can serve as keeping water pressure in the system during a power outage and provide low voltage to dependent systems. Then again having fuel and generators near by is typically the correct answer as some fuel storages at hospitals can run about .. 4-5 days on generator power from fuel, with the option of localized fuel that can be made if a real dire emergency through chemistry and goods near by. Battery is .. well requires energy in or some form ot reverse its charge to be applicable.. of course there is infnite series battery that eventaulyl become a balanced state. IT shaped like a circle, and each conduit path goes through a series of rotating chambers that exchange electrons until it reachs back to the begining rather the A to B solution , recharge... its a A to B to C to D back to A... A fuel cycle talked about in the 60's was about finding a battery that could have a full cyclonic act with minimal loss, so a holy grail of energy is simply the wasste or end product that is sued for naother reaction, and that waste, end product is used for another reaction. So it would be like, A to B to C to A, infinite chemical loop, with minimal losses. Each chamber generating energy back into itself... Now under this study if you read old papers, is that a fuel cycle was made, but the last reaction from C to A, became a self recharging battery, but it would take about 12 hours... or longer ot self charge itself on a tiny battery... SO time is a factor... but once C to A is complete and A to B reaction can happen again in a triggered state then the power cycle continues... That is the crux of the fuel cycle... IN nuclear physics, the unranium decay could be utilzed into subsequent systems, I can't remember the paper , but it wasl ike in the 70s that hte fuel cycle was discovered. Meaning that we had a Energetic, A to B to C with only water as the waste action as the nuclea reaction was a completel fuel cycle, where the waste energized the next system, of course you can take energy from a system that is in excitation so there is always a means ot get energy from something in a highly active state, the question is value or worht it.. IE tritum producing light can be used to power and even keep plants on life support or well mosses... that need low light, but dependent on the bandwidth of hte light ... so meh... All I see is misleading nad confusion and money and talk that destroy people... from having professions nad getting out of the choas manufactured by idiots and the consent of the mob.... Fuel cycle is still... available... also lesser fuel cycles that operate on planetary dependency, and are very energy effecient, simply a long black tube on top of a building with a little bit a water, can generate power.... also... by the sun.. bi-metal reaction can also generate havestable energy to be used... tension is technically a mechanical battery not a chemical battery.... What is the state of energy storage to use and what is its means of work needed
Senator these bastards will say anything to avoid answering questions. I have been running my home solely on solar and batteries for more than 15 years without issue, blackout, or monthly payments to a national provider. The system paid for itself in a little less than three years. Life of the batteries is dependent on how you manage them, and how deeply you discharge them. I am still using the original set up today. In my experience, the only people that knock solar, wind and batteries are those who don't have them.
