You went thorough all the same steps that any carpenter will do except the carpenter will go by plans. You did all the right measurements and improved strength on this new dormer compared to the other. I like that you raised the window sill as now it fills better. People before must have been small as I find it hard to stand next to a window that's quite low. Gives me Goosebumps. Keep up the great job as for the cycle it feels better when you use the pedals as pedal assist, not using the pedals it's the lazy way to ride.

Lucas you are a carpenter. You have started years ago and have learned like every other carpenter did, BY DOING IT !!! When things go wrong you figure it out. Look what you have accomplished with that house! I think the dormer looks great and it looks exactly like the other and you said you wanted to windows higher and you will adjust the other one 10" higher ............it looks terrific and actually fabulous. Just follow the other pattern and it's right there as a "teacher" and you are an excellent student! Sarah is a wonderful partner and yes, she does believe in you because you prove to be her hero each time and yes, she trusts in you as that what a "couple" does for each other. I have learned after 57 years of marriage to trust in the process and if something goes wonky, we just start all over again, it's wood, it can be fixed, it is frustrating at times but that's how we learn, just like the children or ourselves in school.......if we did it wrong we did it til it was right and Whoooooooooooo :-) yeah we learned!!! You take such pride in your work and it is amazing what you can do and figure out.........I think you have done a brilliant job on everything you have done. You are a perfectionist and harder on yourself than anyone else could ever be. LOL You might ask how I know that? Takes one to know one I guess. LOL Hang in there, you're awesome, just ask Sarah and the kids. Rock on and keep on keeping on. Blessings and I can't wait for the next video............... 😊😊😊😊
