the drums are from a vst plugin called rmx-stylus The top keyboard is only a midi keyboard so there are no sounds on board the vst plugins are played trough my laptop connected with midi

Basically reducing the track to a muzak arrangement. Respect your interpretation but the driving bass and crunch guitar layers made the song we know and love.

Sounds like Tubeway Army Are Friends Electric but like in a washing mashine to make corners washed away to make the washing healthy and clean.... Are Friends electric is MIniMoog with all that disadvantages of that time. I meanwhile doubt that that very sound can be duplicated by modern synthesizers. It is and it was MINIMOOG. It's like Stradivari's very expensive violins which are so sought after..... My 2 cents....

Jameel, do what I did. Buy a cheap keyboard, write the notes on the keys with sharpie, play along with your favourite tunes. Just one finger is fine at first. Some simple chords are A + E together, C +G or F, D + G, you'll work out more. If you enjoy it, take some lessons. It's a discipline, but you get better every day. Good luck
Really excellent use of reverb, levels, and recorded looping. Ugh. I want your set up so badly. Played this on the synths at a local music store and it was addictive.
RMX stylus is a vst plugin that you can use as a drummachine realtime or presets that are already programmed to use. The drums you are hearing in this song are from RMX stylus controled by the tyros with midi . As vst host i use cantabile performer where you can set the channels and etc....
Nice modern crystal clear synth sounds of the tune, if our friends electric hasn't been done in trance yet it should be, just needs speeding up 'a' bit (Sacre bleu!!) - for the minute though I'll just listen and take my mind back to 1979 - nice up load fella, ta

Tyros 3 is great but it's more then 11 years old now. The price i payed back then was about 3000 euro's. Now there are cheaper keyboards from Yamaha with the same sound and even more . The PSR SX700 ( 1050 euro ) or SX900 ( 1800 euro ) in Belgium
Great job Albert !!! I'm very impressed how you could combine your keyboard with some cpu sounds... that could be great if one day you could make a 5 mn video to explain all the beginers like me how to insert st plugins in your music! !!! Christophe (France)

Hello, good rendition! I am wondering if Vst instruments are linked into Cantabile Performer and then loaded into the Tyros. Or if it is loaded into the V-Machine on the right....😊😊
Hello, i don't have my v-machine anymore but i only used it as a midi interface. My keyboards are connected to my laptop running cantabile performer. My focus rite audio card is connected to the aux input of my keyboard . You can't load vst instruments into the keyboard. So the keyboards are sending midi data and the audio is coming from my laptop ( vst )
