I think what makes someone a good leader is having good judgment so that they are able to make the right choices for their followers and also being courageous. Not being afraid to take action to change things.

I just love this! I never knew how to find the name of what he explained when he mentioned how a quality of a Leader is when you can sync your brain with another. Like adapting, and being able to communicate on their level and understanding them. Loved the insertion and support of the MRI scan. Thank you--I express many of these qualities and am still working on building them--I've always felt a core predisposition to Leadership qualities and has been an easy concept for me to build and manifest. = ) I once took a DNA test that conveyed that I have some unique SNP alleles that highly affect emotion, cognition, and behavior, as well as having all the SNP alleles for sociability, that are known. Wonderful!

A good leader is a great follower. They live the example they wish to set for others. They know their subordinates and have the tools necessary to turn their weaknesses into strengths. They are fair and impartial, based on the characteristics of the the subordinate. They are prompt to meet the request of their superiors as they wish their subordinates to be at their behest. They understand the multidimensional complications of the human nature and are ever cognizant. They place the objective that they are leading towards, first. The welfare of the subordinates second (but with the understanding of unacceptable loss). Integrity and personal courage are paramount.

Could you talk a little bit on some of the biases that goes on in the presidential runnings which basically only covers and gives people two options, either Democrat or Republican candidates, while basically pushing back and keeping independant parties with potentially great leaders, such as Jill Stein with the Green Party, from even being on the ballad sometimes?

Media loves to ride the Trump train for all its worth, generates more traffic than anyone else. Hillary paid the news organizations to only paint her in a nice light even if she broke every rule imaginable. Given those two factors, they would never post anything on independent.

True leaders have the capacity to be aware of, control and express their emotion and to handle interpersonal relationships judiciously and empatheticaly. Being able to judge interactions with others and handle those complex interpersonal relationships well will turn a good leader into a great leader

It's both nature and nurture by most articles but the exact proportion is not really known. The articles that I have read states that intelligence is 50/50. Furthermore different cognitive traits have different heritable proportions such as spatial IQ being 55% heritable, memory 45% heritable, and vocabulary 50% heritable. It is important to know that there are two types of intelligence and that is Crystallized and fluid. Crystallized intelligence is based off of preexisting knowledge and the SAT, ACT, and ASVAB test this type of intelligence. Fluid intelligence is the ability to solve problems in novel situations without knowledge and to recognize patterns. Fluid intelligence alone is 51% heritable.

I would say that logically Athletic abilities inspire confidence and admiration in others which would naturally reinforce a leader's standing, this may be an ancient measure of leadership that we are we hardwired to admire, even before we were Human, also in some existing occupations this may give a leader even more credibility i.e. Firefighting, Search and Rescue, Emergency Services, Military, Sports, etc
