The defensive jihad does not require strength in numbers or permission from the ruler of the land. Pay attention to this brothers. The confitions related to jihad are when the jihad is offensive in the form of conquest. As for defending our lands and removing the disbelievers from them then it is an obligation for the people of that land to take physical actions. Women and children are even permitted to take arms in such cases. Now if the people in that land cannot defend themselves then the obligation spreads to surrounding countries to support, and if they fail to support, the whole ummah will be obligated to dedend their fellow muslim brothers and sisters. وما لكم لا تقاتلون في سبيل الله والمستضعفين من الرجال والنساء والولدان يقولون ربنا أخرجنا من هذه القرية الظالم أهلها. "Why is it that they do not fight when their fellow muslims from the men, women and children cry out saying, Oh our lord remove us from this land filled with oppressive people" If the sheikh is denying the legitimacy of the jihad in palestine, then he is mistaken, which I highly doubt is his true intention. May Allah preserve him and grant him Jannah. If his intent was to deny that hamas fighters are on the level of the sahaaabah, then he is 100 percent correct. The aqeedah of the muslims upon the sunnah is that the conpanions are the most virtuos on all fronts. والله أعلم.
Today, there is no Khalifa, no country is physically,.military can or will help the Palestinians. Rulers can only talk, ceasefire. Most can't and won't boycott Israel or send ambassadors back etc. We are a humiliated Ummah, due to our sins and disobedience generally. Billions of Muslims, so many divided countries, but humiliated. Now those of our brothers and sisters of Palestine should make hijra as they can't defend themselves, Hamas has brought this harm. The killed are Shuhada in sha Allah. The living should make a peace treaty or make hijra.
Remember, due to our sins , the Nasara preciously invaded Palestine and controlled it for over 80yrs , until Allah brought about Salah UddiN Rahimahullah to reclaim it. I also agree that the ummah is being punished for yhe sins we have committed. However, with that said we are capable. 2 billion Muslims and millions of soldiers enrolled in our armies. We mustn't underestimate our power, all that is missing is unity. As for peace treaty, then no. We will not give up the land, for it will open the doors for a greater evil, Greater Israel. Hamas is NOT an Islamic group ( as also said by Sheikh Al Albani) it's a political group. And what good has Hamas brought upon palestine and Muslims? Only more destruction and blood. You need to set aside emotions, do your research and learn your deen to understand reality.
