My bulbs are truly dreadful. In order to fix this I've borrowed some science from Big Dave, and I'm going to do my best version of Project Farm to find out which bulbs are actually the best.

@3:42 Lux vs Lumens. If someone farts, the shit that comes out of his ass is basically what is measured in Lumen. If shit hits the fence, that is when Lux comes into play. 😂

Yes the engine was seven kinds of broken, so easier to start over

Engine failure. 3 damaged pistons, 4 piston rings, worn bearings, and a failed head gasket

Too bad you did not know about the HIR2 (9012) bulb conversion. You get double the lumens with normal power draw and nice white performance, no color filters.

Biggest difference I found was using vagcom to change the voltage to the headlights on my mk6 golf, from 12 volts to unregulated.... The bulbs don't last as long, but I can see where I'm going...

I didn't know that was a thing. How long do you get out of the bulbs?

@@vPerformance I stumbled on it when I fitted my "ring pro 5000k" bulbs a few years ago, as the light output was worse than OEM bulbs. Can't remember which vw forum I was in but read someone having the opposite issue of bulbs burning out all the same, someone pointed them to a setting for voltage control on the headlights. I tend to get a year or two out of them, but I don't drive more than 10,000 miles a year.

for main beam applications i have installed a light bar (off road one) on my 2008 Ibiza, like i mean no one else is about when using full beam so why not 😂😂😂😂
