This was really great! My favorite points were probably that 1) connecting two economies doesn't necessarily imply that the value will end up being shared equally. 2) It's in the interest of the apps on the L1 that Ethereum is prospering because if Ethereum ecosystem is growing and ETH is doing well ⇒ drives liquidity → TAM grows → attracts apps → drives liquidity and users
my man really said "solana doesn't have mechanism to capture MEV" while solana was the first one where MEV and LST were combined and it captures MEV and distributes it to stakers via the LST
Duhhhh you don’t say🤭. Theres a reason why almost no major airline has their own branded low cost carrier… They would cannibilize their main business.. same applies here but people in crypto are stupid.
Myles nearly gets it. The Game-Theory for ETH is just really bad. You offload all the costs to the users with gas fees, and they have to subsidize the network and the apps. Solana does the opposite. The inflation subsidize the users and apps and you get adoption and growth.
