Question 5 is kind of obscure and missing a lot of context. You're supposed to assume a very specific scenario in order to arrive at that answer since they don't give you the specifics about context. Obviously if a contractor calls you during the bid phase it's true you shouldn't give them exclusive clarification/information on the design intent that the other contractors don't have, but even if you did answer that one contractor you'd just have to make sure that that information was made available to the other contractors. With the lack of context provided, would it be wrong to assume that the architect would follow up with the other contractors and provide them with the same information hence making answer a correct? Feel like the question was more difficult to decode/interpret than knowing the actual information and concept that it was meant to test you on. Notice many ARE questions fall into this category.

25 min to explain the first problem and we get 2.5 min to answer it. Way to much, Mr Newman. Way to much. Dont say 100 words when 20 will do.

I thought supplemental services are services not covered under the basic services, and add services are essentially more basic services than covered in the contract. For example, if a project is delayed and needs many design alternatives due to owner indecision, the architect could possibly request an add service to cover the extra basic services that were above and beyond what's required in the contract.

Didn’t use the word “profit” once while discussing the net multiplier!
