Great discussion! Quick question - despite the increased risk of an audit of a disregarded entity, isn’t it still a good idea to do so while you’re unprofitable / slightly profitable and then elect as S-corp when you start making a couple ten thousands in profits?

This was amazing Toby. Jonathan is definitely a great representative of the company. This video definitely enlighten me on taxation on LLCs. My last business as a newbie i was by default a disregarded LLC but I recently created my new LLC in Wyoming and now i need to select s corp for the separation. Just wondering tho if i just keep personal and businesses expenses separate in a Single member llc and just operate it as a s corp financially could that still protect me from losing a audit doing business correctly?
We have had 1 rental property since 1999 in South Dakota and do not have it in an LLC. Our names are on everything , Deed etc. If we do an LLC now how do we hide our names?
Reorganize into anonymous LLCs and don’t personally be the registered agent (have an attorney be the agent), and probably do so through Wyoming for best protection of personal ID.
