If you made a vow to God , then keep it . This is why you shouldn't be hasty in making vows . Whoever makes vows is bound to that vow till death. But otherwise : Christ has married the church, and the church is Christ spouse ( wife ) The church has many members but is one , it is not one individual who is married to Christ but the church as whole . The union between christ and the church is eternal . Many members of the church are married to other people but they are still christ spouse because they belong to the church. Marriage isn't a sin and it's not forbidden by God , to enter marriage or not it's your decision to make , if your heart desires it then ask God for his favor and guidance and he will bless you for it is His pleasure as your father . In Genesis it said that " it's not good for a man to be alone " In proverb " whoever finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the lord " In ecclesiast " Live joyfully with the wife whom you love all the days of your vain life which He has given you under the sun, all your days of vanity. for that is your portion in life, and in the labor which you perform under the sun". Again it says : " two people are better than one because they can help each other succeed, and that it's bad for someone who is alone and falls down " The Lord himself reaffirm that marriage is a gift from God by saying " What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate " Celibacy is a gift from God for even saint paul wrote " I wish that all of you were as I am. But each of you has your own gift from God; one has this gift, another has that " And he also says : " they should marry, for it is better to marry than to burn with passion " . Christ our Lord also says : " Not everyone can receive this saying, but only those to whom it is given. For there are eunuchs who have been so from birth, and there are eunuchs who have been made eunuchs by men, and there are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. Let the one who is able to receive this receive it. ” To each one his calling.
