I bought a pair of Golden Goose Purestar (£350) and they have lasted 2 years already and still look amazing with little to no wear on soles or leather! the quality is second to none and they hae become even more comfortable due to the quality leather.

Bro where where you seeing these for $800-$1,000? Every pair of stardans i get from the GG store are $595 plus tax. $130 extra for customization. Good review though, in love with these shoes
Desinger sneakers are absolutely worth it in my opinion. I wouldn't buy a closet full of them but having a few of the classics on hand is perfect. I can wear a pair of extremely rare Nike or Adidas and literally no one notices. Throw on a pair of YSL Court Classics or Gucci Aces and they get noticed. I think you really have to see a pair of designer sneakers in person to understand the quality though.
I agree but its actually the dumbest investment. your wearing a pair of $600 dollar shoes to get into your hyudai elantra. I cant help but laugh at that.

The Stardan are a bit chunky on my flipper feet, I prefer the lower profile Superstar. I can confirm they are true to size and you can chuck out the sole liner or replace it for a better fit, I’ve kept it in for the time being. Cheers for the vid! ;)
Hi! Are you 10.5 in u s size? Love to buy but im having a hard time coz will only order online. Most of sneakers in adidas or vans are 10.5 u.s mostly 44 but sometimes 44/half.
Hmm, every RU-vidr is answering this question with a yes. I would say it's probably a bit of buyer's confirmation bias. I honestly don't trust any reviewer saying GGDB is comfortable. They are not. GGDB are awesome for its aesthetics and the fact that you don't have to worry about keeping them clean. Quality is OK (leather is thin, insole has no cushioning and outsole wears quick). I have a lot of designer sneakers and these are the worst in terms of quality and comfort. But...aesthetics do matter, and for me they are worth their money just so I don't have to worry about weather or scuff marks, but if you are saving up to buy your first pair of luxury sneakers I would probably get a pair of Lanvins or similar.
Agree with the first portion - but I disagree with you saying they're not comfortable. For me, they're one of my most comfortable sneakers I own! But everyone has different opinions and feet!
@@MikeC95 Feet matters absolutely. What sneakers are you comparing them to? Also I’m not saying people shouldn’t buy them, or that I don’t see a value. I have two pairs (superstar and ball star). But I didn’t buy them for comfort. I’m more addressing younger buyers saving up to buy their first pair of expensive sneakers.
Listen save your money and buy some real sneakers I have 4 pairs of golden goose, 3 x superstar and 1 pair of Francy, soles deteriorated after one year, literally like sole starts peeling off at the heel, £350 pair of trainers where the sole peels off? Never had this problem with adidas, nike, new balance
