They are all over 19, they are not minors. It is really nice artists debuting in a correct age. It looks really good. Hope SM, after some time, debut a girl group too. European and American general public are not that much into cute concepts, so please don't make that kind of error.
The cute concepts have already immersed themselves in that group, whether you like it or not, you just have to accept it already as shown by watching their interview, since they are also in the SM label with the biggest shares of the group, and it is a requirement also in starting to win the hearts of Koreans, and as a propagator of the group, it is vital since they would demonstrate a united and humble unity that was always lacking in normal or traditional bands that mostly broke up thinking about themselves and not others, showing little humility. the cute concept is more about being a person with a sincere heart towards the public.
@@hallooos7585 Not. They just show how big k-pop fever has become. General public don't know them. Do you know how many times I have heard of them on tv or radio? Zero. I can count with one hand how many times I have seen some k-pop artist or songs being played as background song on tv and there are only three songs I have heard being played as a hit in the radio.
@@Eric-xm3bq do you have a source that SM holds the most shares in Moon&Back Media? I can't find anything online, and I understood Dear Alice to just be a collaboration between SM and Moon&Back (with SM focused on their training - and only around 100 days of training at that), without any details of SM ownership. I'm assuming that's what you meant anyway, since investors can't buy stocks for individual groups within one company.
Marketing Manager over here. Ive been following the k-pop industry since 2011 and having an english-speaking k-pop group, formed solely on foreigners, has been a goal of a lot of companies since 2012 and beyond (after Gangnam Style's boom on the internet). It's so interesting that this is finally happening. I'm curious specially about their skills since SM Entertainment is known for his excellent vocal training and dance training. I expect a lot from this guys. Congrats on your debut, Dear Alice!
I don't think their main handlers understand the anatomy of kpop and why it has such a massive global appeal. There are lots of talented people around the world and I'm sure these boys are that as well, however, the appeal of kpop, especially, boybands are the personalities themselves. Being a Kpop idol means humility, hard work ethics, boyishness, clean in appearance but also lifestyle, earnestness, sincerity, etc. There is a great stress on hard work and sacrifice. It was an awakening to a market that was tired of the bad boy, party, do drugs all the time, girls everywhere rockstar. There was a huge untapped market for just clean wholesome, hard working boys who worked bottom up whom the market could relate to. So far in this interview, all I'm getting is the same old same old; they could just as well be One Direction. This could just as well be a Simon Cowell project; not that that's a sleight on him but then this would not be Kpop. We'll have to see but, the majority of the kpop market is made up of girls, women who yearn for that boy next door, working all the time, have no time for girls, waiting for that special one heartthrob (real or not). In any case, good luck to them. So far, I just don't see the Kpop shine on them; I don't see that instant WOW! from any of them.
Ngl, I am excited. From SM, I’m a huge NCT/WayV, SUPERM, RIIZE, and Lucas fan and also like some SHINee and EXO songs. So I’m really excited about this group!! Hope they are as good as the current SM groups!!
@@Awordforangeleaves I'm sure it means that they went to see it, bc i saw the entire show and they weren't there (obviously because they didn't even debut yet)
James is hella cute. Can't wait to see them debut coz they're probably incredibly talented with insane vocals (since they're from SM). One thing is for sure is that there's no doubt on idols talent when they're from SM
I really really really look forward Moon&back and SM collaboration for this group,I learned way back that it's not a Kpop group so I'm genuinely curious about how they are going to move in the market and musically speaking They got my attention just for the teaser on their ig alone and since I learned that these are theatre kids I can't wait to see them sing and dance, especially after those 100 days of training at SM and I really want to see how Moon&back intend to promote them on a global scale Wish them all the best👏🏻 Ngl SM was smart in doing a partnership with moon&back, let's see the results👀
If they are from SM...i m guessing vocals and rap shld be good....i m hoping the dancing is good too...all SM grps especially the younger groups are such fantastic dancers..and performance wise they(all SM groups) are superb...looking forward to it!
Hope Dear Alice to be a true British boy band and not another k-pop group with foreign members like JYP and Big Hit latest GG. K-pop is already over saturated. SM please give us just good music, don't make them flop wanting to turn them in a k-pop group.
Yessss that’s what I want too like just make them a REAL BRITISH group. dont come to korean show(but smtown is ok) just go get that British/American shows with good western song.
Why tf are they under SM entertaintmemt then? They want to be a british boy band, then why do they come in S.Korea in the K-POP market?? They are not even Korean. 👎👎
Yeah i prefer this kind of boyband, without any korean members. Idc if the music sounds so 2012, One Direction fan here so it doesnt matter to me😂 cant wait for their debut!!
As a Westlife fan, this comment surprised me in a good way lol 😂 I realized Mark and Reese have something in common. I hope Westlife get to meet them and give them good advices.
Ngl, but im kind of glad that they're from europe. Normally, if entertainments do smth like that or have foreign english speaking idols, they're always from the US. I just have problems relating to them if they're from the US
I wish them the best of luck in the industry and l look forward to their music and dances and it's interactions with other kpop group and I wonder how's gonna be the leader lol 💞✨
