This is not a fraud with investors. This is just an unethical practice to earn money. So don’t cash out. But one thing, if quant was buying any random stock just to do front running with the huge amount of investors money and not the stock which they were intended to buy, then it is a fraud.
When the news of Ultratech buying stakes in India cement came ,shares of India cement spikes by 8% on that very day.But interesting point is that before 1-2 days,share already spiked by 18-20%.Why didn't Sebi investiged the matter.All because lot of high influential personality money is involved. Sold my quant in June. Apart from front running issue, I suppose the current bubble in Indian market may burst. Those still invested need to think critically, rather than emotionally. "You cannot drive your car looking at the rear mirror."
amfi can make a fund manager profile and also make them mandatory to disclose any case running on them , also decrease rating of fund in terms of security . that can make a dent
Sorry if the suggestion is lame as i dont know much legalities, But why a mutual fund house cannot have a broker account and place bet directly in mkt skipping intermediaries. ?

Wisdom says...withdraw all funds (currently with profits), mkt is at peak, wait & watch, observe situation for few weeks & finally there is always to re-invest the funds😊
I think people should withdraw some now unless you are in for very long term (I am saying 10-15 years).....the market is also quite bubbled up currently and on top of this news....it doesn't sound good....

Don't withdraw your money guys. Same situation happened with Axis too. But at the end, the main perpetrators were punished, the AMC is still fine. Don't panic.
Can someone explain me why Quant Small Cap fund has 9.47% holding in Reliance Industries and even 5.91% Holding Jio Finance. From which angle these are small caps?
That’s only 16% approx ..what’s the problem? SEBI mandates minimal 65% holding of small cap securities. Also large cap are good for quick liquidation, all scheme holds them
