Just found your Chanel as I have been watching so many sneaker videos recently 😂 , such good quality videos - earned yourself a subscriber your Chanel is going to go big man don’t give up!
@@retrospectivedave9018 ohhh, do you know if different factories use different leathers? Me and my friend both got a pair off nike and mine is a lot more tumbled and soft on the toebox than his
If you wear a size 7, then I probably wouldn't worry. Reason why is because, a Turbo Green Jordan 1 in your size will not have the writing on the side panel. However, a size 8 and up would. So, different sizes might have different things going on 👊🏽😎
6:15 on the end of the nike logo when he go to the purple thats different on all pairs and at 7:22 the band on the back of the tongue tab are different in all paire i dont hava a good english but i hope that my comm is good
Everything seems to check out but the back of the leather tongue tag does not line up with the stitching and I don’t have the dip on the back like yours on either sneaker I thought they were legit because I bought them off flight club plus the toe box is iffy can you help me?
Jamal Callíente FYI these had bad quality. Some had some weird dents on the toe area, some stitching issues. But the shoes should look 95 % good to pass in my book. If you see more than a few imperfections on this pair I would be suspicious
Alan Gonzalez the toe box is fine so ig I was just tripping and retrospective helped me with the tags so I know that’s legit now the only real issue it this on bump on the leather and this one part where the stitching is off
I coped a pair and I’m 100% sure their legit but the tongue tag doesn’t have that little triangle cut. Is that normal since some shoes are made in different factories?
It's possible that a change could've been made during the production process. Maybe Nike started off doing the tongue tab one way, then switched later. I don't know that for sure, but it's not farfetched.
Thanks for checking out my video, Anthony! Sure, you can write me on IG. I'll be at work a majority of the day, so I won't get back to you until this evening 👊🏽😎
@@retrospectivedave9018 Very true! I gotta be honest, editing is not my forte. Watching this video was dope because I can see the attention to detail and the amount of work you put into your craft, man. It's truly inspiring. All is definitely well here in LA. I'm blessed to be an educator because it allows me to work from home, but I feel for folks who are currently out of work or underemployed. Are you in the state of Alabama?
Though editing is the most exciting part of the process, I find that getting the desired shot is more important. For example, a good cake is baked by using the right ingredients. But, once something is left out, icing and other decorations may not be able to save it. It's awesome that you're still able to make a difference in the world, despite what's going on. Can't stop knowledge! But, when you really break down the impact this virus has made on the world, there's so much to address on so many levels. I live in the Tar Heel State....NC!
A lot of times, the stamp can be faded to the point that it can be overlooked. Double check to make sure it's nowhere to be found, and get back to me 👊🏽😎
Feel the label on the box and feel for the chip. I don’t think they got that right yet. Also compare the box to another Jordan 1 box for size. Also check dor wobble on the shoe. Authentic shoul slightly, and I mean slightly rock to the left on the left and to the right on the right. The UAs will rock all over the place. If you get any of these, find someone on facebook market that will authenticate the shoe. Sneaker shops (resell shops if you have any around you) will do this as well. Hope this helps a bit.
Bruh don't stop, you really are gonna make it. I'm happy to be here while you're still underground because I'll get to see you in the future with a million subs before you even know it. Keep droppin this heat content this is stuff that real sneakerheads will look at when they need help authenticating.
My man! Thank you! When I first recorded the Turbo Green video, which was my 1st video doing the authenticity thing, I didn't think it would go over well. If I ever reach 1M subs, I'm definitely going to remember your comment! Shout out to you, and be safe 👊🏽😎
I’m surprised there’s no QC sticker inside box. Most Jordan 1’s come with it! Ty! I was scared cuz I didn’t see it in my pair and all my other j’s have it
New subscriber here. Bro thank u so much man for this video. I bought 2 pairs of these shoes, one from goat and dtlr. Colors, box and stitching all the same but the white tumble leather on the side of the swoosh were kinda different from each other. I really thought I got a fake one but this video really helped me and gave me peace of mind that my pairs are legit. Thanks again bro!
Thank you for commenting, Mark! That's 100% what I want to achieve by making these videos. At times, it's hard to find people with the same shoe to do a comparison, which is why I started making videos like this. I'm happy to know that you're satisfied with your purchase, and I hope you enjoy them 👊🏽😎
Smaller sizes can vary from bigger sizes, depending on the silhouette. For example, sizes 7 and under for Turbo Green 1's do not feature the writing on the side panel. So, to answer your question, smaller sizes can vary from bigger sizes......quality included 👊🏽😎
Just got these and the only thing that makes me question if their real is mine don’t have the missing piece on the tounge tag. However it does pass every other test including the smell and shape test. You think it could just be a factory malfunction that caused it?
I believe so. It's very much possible that there was a change in production somewhere, so some pairs might have that missing piece while others do not 👊🏽😎
RETROspectiveDAVE thanks for the reply bro. An I believe their real they pass the two easiest way to tell. Keep doing videos tho man I put my brother on to you whose just now becoming a collector.
I like how in depth and to the point the review was. Don't know how accurate that tongue indention spacing thing was tho, I got a pair straight from Nike and it didn't have that. Also you should use the black light check also because thats huge tell tale. Beast.
Thank you for your comment and feedback, Christian. Yeah, the spacing behind the tongue has been brought up a few times in the comments. Some are saying their pairs have it, and others are saying the opposite. So, I hate that it came across as though I was saying that if your pair didn't have that, then it was inauthentic. It just seemed intentionally done, so I assumed all pairs were done the same way. But, that's why I'm glad you chimed in. I've heard of the black light test, but I'm unfamiliar with what it's supposed to show. Can you fill me in on that?
RETROspectiveDAVE the black light test is when you shine a black light on the side of the shoe the stitching looks reflective, it glows in a way which usually means it’s real
The only thing that’s different from our one is that the tongue tab don’t have that peak and the stamp on the box. Other than that it’s all the same as your one. Do I have anything to worry about? Just need help
Man I got a pair of court purples and everything checks out but there's two things that got me second guessing. The top lining on the shoe tounge doesn't look 100% straight and the stamp on my box and near the nike symbol but its stamped vertically
What's up, Lucas? Thank you for your comment. I don't think the stamping has to be positioned a certain way on the lid. You should be fine there. As for the stitching around the tongue, you're going to have what they call "factory flaws", which means that even though the sneakers are authentic, there could still be an issue with the production. If you want, send me pictures of your sneakers on IG, and I'll take a look at them when I leave work 👊🏽😎
😁...I bought it when I was a student there. That was about 8 years ago, so I don't know if the school still sells that color. But, you can check the school website to see what apparel is available. Or call the Morehouse bookstore once everything opens up again 👊🏽😎
What's up, Gabe? Thank you for your question. Don't be alarmed if you're missing a production stamp. It's possible that someone forgot to put one under your box lid. Or maybe the stamping machine didn't have a sufficient amount of ink for the stamp to be visible. So, I wouldn't write your pair off as fake just because it's missing a stamp 👊🏽😎
@@retrospectivedave9018 and also, I'm comparing my Court purple 2.0 from stockx with my Jordan 1 UNC from footlocker. I noticed that the toebox on the UNCs is higher, and I noticed the Court Purples are taller by about half a centimeter. Is that normal?
Hey man i just purchased a pair off stock x and i think they are fake :( The stitching on the Nike logo its touching the Nike swoosh and the tag on the inside of the tongue where its almost like a triangle shape its not the same as yours. Did i get a fake?
randomyoutuber my brother has a size 10 bro, the stitching is right ON the logo basically. He got his confirmation “Got Em” off sneakers. I wouldn’t be worried
But i really have the jordan 1 purple but whit the zoom air label exept or the nike one. They are white and purple , like the chicago but i have purple at the place of the red..
Yo I was watching another legit check and they didn’t have the cut out triangles on the real pair do you think some real pairs could have missed the triangle cut outs on the tongue ?
I have 2 pairs from END 1 box had the stamp whilst the other didnt .. sometimes they put it sometimes they dont. The best way to tell if they are authentic is to look at the shape and use a ultraviolet torch and have a good look all around the shoe and inside too.
It's hard to say because those have been out for a little while now, which is enough time for factories to have started perfecting the look of the shoe. I would go with a consignment store. At least you'd be able to inspect what you're buying before you hand over your money.
The holes on mines are all the same except for 3 of them and aren’t all the way through, does that mean they’re fake ? I checked everything else and it was good and I also checked it with a uv light and it was all good too.
