So you should see movement, veins, or something after 5-7 days of being in incubator? I’ve done chickens but never ducks. We have a large pond near our house, I want to release them after full maturity. Just found your channel thank you. How often do you mist? Anyone who wants to answer I’d appreciate any info 🙏
Yes I usually see great veins day 6! That would be awesome to release them. I misted the eggs once a day. The last three days were the only days I didn’t mist them
I just bought an incubator & it was falsely advertised. I can control temp but not humidity. Temp is staying at 99 but humidity is staying at 66-67! Should I go ahead & return it? Is this not going to work?
I have a duck egg. It has a very small Crack. No leaks. I can see the yolk of the egg. The duck laid it on my back porch. And didn't come back. All I have is a heating blanket. What do I do?
Unfortunately it’ll be really hard to incubate it with a crack in it. Also you’ll need an incubator, or a broody bird to sit on it for it to grow into a duckling 🌸
Is the turner youre using the turer that comes with the incubator? I'm getting welsh harlequin eggs and want to know if they'll fit in the 22chicken turner or if I should buy 😂3D printed 18 egg holder for duck eggs.
New to duck eggs. I have the 360 and have hatched my first chicken eggs. The 360 is set up for automatic for chicken hatching, How do you set it up for ducks?
You just need to press the menu button that will tell you days till hatch. You should be able to hold and press for 3 seconds and it’ll allow you to edit the days to hatch up to 30 days. Which you only need 28. Hope this kind of helps! I just started incubating my first clutch
