Just for my own information - what is the process exactly? I mean we're one of the most losing franchises in the NFL over the past decade so please..enlighten me. What is this process that I should trust?
Ptrain another great video as always. Your interview with Max Chadwick. Max made some excellent comments regarding Giants draft picks. I agree we had a very good off season grade B+ is about right. I liked Tracey pick was excellent I also loved Nubin pick at safety. Nebars was the right pick at 6th pick. The key to the season is Jones getting healthy . I disagree with Max I think Jones will have a bounce back season with a chance to get Giants into a wildcard playoff spot. I like the Georgia QB also. I am hoping Jones plays well enough to stay as our number 1 QB. I agree with Max that our defense will be much stronger. I still think we can get 9 wins and surprise the experts. I think our Oline will be much better this year I think Evan Neal needs to be a guard not a tackle. I think Neal should be a right guard. I agree Runyon is a solid Guard. I hope Max is right about Evan Neal that he will be able to handle Right Tackle. Ptrain keep up your great work. Looking forward to your next video go Gmen 😊
Not sold on this guys opinion at all. Congrats to him for having one though. lol it just doesn’t make sense to trash the receiving core and OL and then state the QB doesn’t have all these traits. Maybe he would exhibit some traits if he had Hurts or Purdys supporting cast. Time to get some knowledgeable people on the show.
@@LockedOnGiantsNFL I can honestly say you are one of the more objective people when it comes to speaking of the Giants. I appreciate you efforts, it just seems every time this guy gets on its all over the place and contradicts himself often.
Patti, a bit off topic: I wish you’d do a show or bring on a guest to talk about the economics of this mess - despite having the worst 10 year record in the NFC, the Giants are valued by Forbes at $6.8 billion, 4th highest in the league. Is there a meaningful cost of failure, or can ownership continue to cram this embarrassing product down fans’ throats while laughing all the way to the bank?
I'll see if I can find a sport business speialist to come on the program. It's an interesting topic. My gut though says tht thanks to the legue revenue sharing program, the answer is ther isn't a menaingful cost of failure.
Not a bad episode. Don't see some things quite like Max does but he did have some decent insights. QB evaluation is always a craps shoot. Who knows? JJ may become a fine QB, but I think he wasn't a top 10 draft pick, glad the Giants didn't select him at 6. I think that the Giants ran a bit of a soft camp last season, probably trying to minimize injuries, however I think it played a role in their horrible start.
Hey,,,# 8, DJ,,, the bionic Man,,is throwing deep ball's,, and he is lighting up the OTAs Detroit Lions practice,,, with # 5, TDs,,, and JHYATT the future One handed caught over # TBanks,, with perfect defense,,,He won,, with a toe tap and all,,GO G-MEN,!¡!!!!!!
So now DJ can’t throw the ball? He’s talking about fumbles that DJ worked to clean up and it’s still a topic of discussion. I can’t wait for the excuses when DJ balls out this year.
@@cooldude7821 that's fine you don't have too, but you don't root against him. I don't have faith in our oline but I'm going the best for them.. The problem with fans like you is... If, DJ does well you'll say it was a fluke and we should part ways from him. Just because you don't want to eat crow. I don't make excuses for, DJ. I'm just honest about the entire team and not lay blame on one player.
@@fkyofellings5709 Ok. All I care about is W's as a giants fan. We're 22-37 with DJ behind center in his 5 years. Not all his fault. But it is what it is.
Love how they try to jus ignore any good DJ has ever done it’s all explained away by being credited to someone or something else anything except he played or can play well when given the chance to
I don't think DJ is a below-average QB. He can throw the damn ball if you give him time to throw. However, I will agree with that assessment. He may not be with the NY Giants long-term, due to injuries
I am been rooting for Jones to be successful since HS…..he has the ht, arm strength, athleticism and frame to be a good QB but he has had the same issues for yrs he stares down his WRs, doesn’t process or read defenses very well, and he doesn’t take shots downfield ……teams have came out and said they have no fear of him attacking their defense deep, Witherspoon from Seattle said he saw it on tape that Jones stares down his WRs that’s how he got that pick 6 if a rookie CB can see it on film then coaches are game planning for this ……imo if Jones can play like the guy and keep that mind set from the 2nd half of the Zona game he could be good it is all mental for him
@@michaeldonnan6767 Ever cross your mind that DJ was part of the reason for all the turnover in coaching. If it smells like $h!+ everywhere you go. It's you.
Lol. PFF had Daniel Jones going in later in the 1st round NOT 3rd round. Many had him going to Denver at 11. PFF also had Even Neal going in the top 8, and have the Giants an A- for that draft.
Whats is this guys credentials to call Daniel a below avetage qb? These "analysts" make me laugh. We have individuals who never played at that level nor the takent daniel has. Lets Go Daniel. Some of us still support and believe in you.
@jasonbenjamin7754 If you take all 32 QB's stats from the 2022 season and average them out, you'll come to find that DJ stats for 2022 were middle of the pack and mediocre. I've seen the numbers crunched, and it's not a matter of opinion. Just saying!
How can this guy say how bad Evan Neal and the offensive line is, and still say jones is below average. So Evan Neal, ranked 80th out of 81 “can still be a quality tackle “ but Jones, who has had a bottom 3 ranked Offensive Line in 4 of his first 5 years, can’t be a quality bc QB.
I’m sorry to say that I’m pretty tired about all the DJ talk with almost every guest. I think that’s been hashed out and everybody knows about his faults and nobody ever talks about the good things that he does or has done. I for one believe we have a whole team to talk about, so unfortunately, I had to turn this podcast off because when we dwell on DJ it makes it seem like we have no hope to have a decent team this year. I look forward to the next podcast. Thanks.😎
Does this guy see what's out there for back up QBs, I mean Jones could still start and def be a back up for YEARS. I'm convinced most of the media folks are completely full of shit and delusional. No substance just talkin to talk.
