Are Olympus Actually Selling? 

Having announced a signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOR) to “carveout” their imaging business to JIP (Japanese Industrial Partners), Olympus appears to be leaving the camera business; or are they? It’s not quite clear what actually is happening and there is no reference within any of the press releases of actually a ‘sale’ of the company; they merely reference a transfer of the company. So is the imaging business being sold, given away or what?
