Imran Khan barely won the elections, and had to make ideological compromises to come into power. That, coupled with the instability he brings to Pakistani politics, is reason enough not to waste money on toppling his regime. His comparisons with other leaders who were in fact targets of US regime change is irrelevant, because A) he is not an ideological leader but an idealistic buffoon. B) Pakistan is not a country that can unite under an celebrity-independent ideology that poses a threat to US.
