Thanks a lot for your trust in pibox india and your detailed review. Couple of observations:- 1. Heat - The aluminium shell purpose is to bring out the heat. NVME disks heat more than normal disks. If you use the same without the metal - You can see the heat it generates. If you use the thermal pad you will see increase in heat on outer shell which indicates better heat dissiaption.. 2. Cable: C-A cable can only function at 5Gbps as its usb 3.0 max speed. C-C cable: If connected to a SS port you will get similar speed but your laptop has a Thunderbolt port and hence you get the full 10 gbps. Retention clips: You can see the listing video for the installation steps and removal steps.
Thanks for the clarifications. Your product is great and has been using it without issue for some time now. For a v2 product, i would really suggest making a better tooless mounting .. I am really not a fan of the retension clip mechanism. The best reference could be the tooless mount on asus motherboards or even some of your other products. The enclosure, which has the fan, has a good mounting mechanism, too, compared to this.
@@lazyneil Our 322-NE model uses a rotatable easy retention clip. The NVME 312 model has this as the retention clip as this can only fit the base board better. Alternate designs are complex. Once you get used to the same first time - it will be easy. To remove - there is a simple instruction on the video also.
@@piboxindia I have bought HDMI USB 3.1 and which is not supported for ipad pro 11 inch 3gen I have requested for return product on same and for refund and you are not responding to any of the issue and even i request for refund and return no information about it and before buy I have confirmed it then also . Service of pibox is worst , I have video of unboxing and each details I have submitted in WhatsApp still you guys are not ready to take product back and give refund
Whole world is moving to usb 4 ( thunderbolt 4) , but these companies are dumping previous ewaste old generation usb 3.2 nvme enclosures which came more than 5 yrs back into India and these youtubers are promoting it, kindly please promote latest generation first before asking people to buy very old models.
If it's more then enough for your use case then you don't need to spend a lot of money on the latest generation of standards. Those are aleast my thoughts The speeds are more then enough and at the same time affordable too
For people which is 99.99% complaining about NVMe enclosure, every NVMe passive enclosure heats up. Plain and simple as that. And more the Gen 4 or Gen 5 the more it heats up. So, just buy active enclosure instead if you want to hold it for whatever reason at the same time when you are working. If anybody curious what is the reason for NVMe SSD to head up so much it is just the controller working so hard to give fast speed at the same time with fast response time, NAND flash and DRAM do heat up but not that much it would be easily cooled by passive cooling so it is just the controller that is heating like a toast.
@@epictetus__ Well, people know it heats up but to what extent is only known when used out of motherboard and on enclosure. People think the heat can be easily removed passively and buy the passive enclosure and get disappointed. Just buy active cooling enclosure. Simple science and logic. And either way nobody is using enclosure in pocket or holding it at the same time while using it on PC. So, it being hot doesn't matter and if starts to matter then use ACTIVE COOLING ECLOSURE which most of the people don't want to buy because of pricing.
Bro please tell me reality of this laptop's battery life in hand bcz companies claims are wrong on actual working conditions I want to buy it❤ How long it lasts in various uses .Love you❤
Will it support my western digital SN730 2280 NVME M.2 ssd that i took off from a laptop which has windows installed on it? I want to connect this to my macbook air!
I have one question that after setting up this ssd enclosure, when we first time plug this into system does that work directly or we have set it up ? incase we have do formatting for this so when we connect this into some other person's system then there we again have to format this and loose existing data? PLS CLARIFY THIS.
Just plugin any m.2 nvme ssd inside of it and it will run as expected no format needed for old / used drivers.. but if you bought a new one then you will need to make a partition and format the same as it's new .. hope this helps Just think about this as any other hdd enclosure
