Being from VIT Vellore 2022 passout, I would say prefer Vellore over Chennai anyday. However if you are not getting your desired branch at Vellore, definitely opt for Chennai

I have got vit Chennai cat 2 cse core and my rank was 7k i had given in preference was cat 1 cse vellore then 2 then 3 and then Chennai 1 2 finally got Chennai cat 2 cse core what u suggest should I take it or not pls tell
CSE at VIT Chennai will offer you with great opportunities for sure but your decision should also depend on your financial condition. Assume an average package of about 10-12 LPA if you study decently and see if it makes sense to you.

@@XtenstialKrysis are koi bat ni my dad is a landlord but still i just dont wanna spend that much for a btech degree and i am going to most likely pursue masters in germany(my dad thinking from canada) as there is no education fees in germnay and staying cost for student (i am talking about student) is 4 to 5 lakhs per year and now if i tak cse in vit it will cost about 20 lakhs around and if i do degree in cse which i like quite and i will do it from chitkara univ it will cost around 10-11 at max so around 22-23 lakhs my whole expense would be covered till masters .. i would not advise you not take in cat4 rather go for tier 3 and push yourself internet pe literally sab kuch hain ,bro code,code with harry etc etc 450rs me literally java c++ ke course hain so even if your teachers are not good you still can do great ,from chandigrah and chitkara 2 students pushed their limits and end up getting 1.7cpa job i am just giving example lpu se ladka masters krke germany se 3cpa ka job nikal gya so in the end it depends soly on you ,everything has a soltuon it just depends how much work you are willing to put... and yeah my 2 friends are also joining same univ so most likely i will go there

@@KhushiGupta-zd8pw well I am from haryana too and I think spending that much is definitely not worth it ,you could study good in tier 3 college and could get a good placement of 10-30lpa if you do good and if you could be exceptionally good off campus apply kro chitkara or chandigarh se krke 2 ladko ne 1.5cr ka package nikal gaye hain ,instead vit if you do btech from chitkara let's say (10-11lakhs) then left amount you could save it for masters I don't think going to vit would be right call and if you are thinking of going to chitkara you should apply quickly as seats are filling in the end it mostly depends on individual of how much he want to do it I am also not advising to just stud just have a time management between studies and life

For CS branches , placements are really good companies like Microsoft , amazon , deeshaw ,shell, TCS, infosys , Cognizant , and many super tech companies are coming but you will have to maintain a good cgpa to be eligible for good placements . All the best!!

Relax bro! Don't take the word 'rural' literally. It's just Vellore doesn't have the glamour (pubs, malls, etc) that a metro city like Chennai or Delhi has. 🙂

noo dude!!!.... If your parents are equivalents to Ambani then yes go ahead...approx 35L(including hostel n mess charges) for 4 years n the placement you get will be around just 12-14Lpa... get an idea?? 😃
