The FAIR comparison test is to shave with the Pace 6 with power ON for one side of the face and power OFF for the other side of the face. That kind of arrangement will let you judge if this power razor is or is not a gimmick.

I d like to give my opinion on the power razors. I was shaving with the Gillette Proglide for some days...ONLY WTG pass. One day I just put the same catridge on the Gillette Power Handle and shaved again only WTG and the hairs got significantly shorter. From that day... when I am shaving with Gillette 5 blabes... its only by the Power handle. In my case the Power handle offers : 1) Shorter shave. 2) More comfort because the vibration is creating some skin numbing while you are shaving.

Bravo Tony: great shave! Mach 3 is my favorite razor, as I stay away from trimmer blades. Too bad the Mach 3 Power is no longer available. I was never much for battery operated razors, but I like the wider handle. Mach 3 blades are the most economical ones for me because I get eight shaves/ blade, and only 5-6 with Schick and Dorco. Recently, I have been getting the most comfortable shaves of my life with the Mach 3, Edge Sensitive shave gel, and Gillette aftershave gel. (shave gel and aftershave cost less than $6.00 total.) don't think the m3 power vibes did much . it was supposed to raise hair in the marketing hype but in reality just disguised the tugging ...isn't very good at all compared to fusion power... fusion vibes is for reducing friction

yes Edited to add: Why add alkaline batteries to the additional waste of plastic carts over a single edge/double-edge razor?

I still have a Mach3 Power handle. But it just doesn't work as well as the Fusion Power for some reason. The Mach3 works better without the vibes.

Just gimmick. I own the non powered Gillette Proglide. The Amazon guy delivered my 12 pack of refills just now. Amazon or Costco. The 4 pack is $20 and the 12 pack is $32. It is way cheaper to buy bulk packs. 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦

The Mach 3 Power you know Tony is no longer available so hold on to it that classic razor. I have it down as the second best razor Gillette ever made behind the Sensor. Winner winner chicken dinner with both razors!!!

What about feather f3 razor does shaper mean better

Change the Cartridge on the Mach 3

SIX blades is too many in a multiblade disposable razor or cartridge. Even 5 is really too many. THREE is the better number. Even so, I do occasionally use Gillette Fusion 5 because I have some unused cartridges and the handle. (but this was not my fault).

I’m impressed! I was thinking that I could eat a sandwich and get a nap in before you were done shaving that much stubble with a cart razor…Still, a lot more blade rinsing than a DE. Cheers!

The Dorco Pace 6 is a legit razor. Imo better than Schick and on par with any 5 blade Gillette.

Dorco pace 6 is good but it feels like my it's like pulling my skin.

Tony id say just shave it off that way you dont have to deal with any facial hair
