One of my colleagues at my program told me her mom had this happen to her. Her mom is 74 and only has a 4G flip phone. Her mom got something that looked like a ticket in the mail and called her. Her mom was like, "I didn't see anywhere to pay or I would have paid with cash or my debit card." Her mom was afraid of her car getting booted in her driveway or her car getting towed.
Yeah, right, why get the city to do the ticketing, when these companies take the money themselves instead? That would be a massive loss to them from those who do pay the tickets and not a great business model =P
You'd be pretty dumb to actually pay those unless it's a company like impark which will actually go through the trouble of calling the credit bureau for unpaid ticket
I got a ticket from ImPark. What heppen if I don't choose to pay it buddy? Will this impact my credit rating? I just wanted to go to the court but it seems there is no court on that?
they cannot send these to a collection agency, they do not go against your credit. they are not enforceable. you just run the risk of being towed if you continue to not pay in their lots. @@hassanelgharbimasc.4192
