My son is super logical & loves to learn so listening to the guys has really helped me better understand his mindset. He said to me the other day, “Mom, how are you ok just wondering & not googling it to find out?” I reminded him I didn’t grow up with Google so it still isn’t an automatic thing for me. I am very content not knowing things. 🤣

I was at the dentist today and this older guy walked in and his phone was blasting the Bible. Not sure if it was Dwell, but he just let it keep reading Hebrews for a good while. He even pulled out his phone and looked at it and didn’t turn off the audio until he was called back a minute later. It was hard to not burst out laughing once he left- I thought that sounded just like something you guys would talk about on the pod so I had to come back and comment. Loved the episode today! You guys never fail to make me laugh😁

the jingle i listened to so much was the one where Timon ended it by switching to a really deep voice singing "sip that *brewww* and set your spirit free". i caught myself humming it in the shower the next day, top tier advertising lol

8/8 for me on Office in a Flash. 10/10 would recommend

12 minutes in: Brad and Jake live in a borderline sketchy neighborhood, but their houses are SO safe because they’re off the road and have lights, so don’t be thinking you can rob them. Also, Brad sleeps by the door and Jake has nothing but a knife by his bedside table, so if you do decide to rob them they’re ready to fight.

My husband is not a listener (well, that’s debatable because I listen a lot I’m sure he’s heard a bit) but I’m gettin him with the games! He played the baby products game with me and just aced office in a flash, sometimes before the quote was even finished, I knew he’d be great at it so one more way to get him listening.

“Family on Mission” and “The Gospel Comes with a House Key” are great books to help give a new perspective on your neighbors. As a family we see the people God brings right next to us as the simplest people to love, pray for and share the Gospel . Easy way to teach my kids, you don’t have to go to a foreign place to be salt and light. Not always easy, but worth practicing. Great podcast, as always!

I'm with Brad on the NFL comments. Definitely *not* rigged in the sense that they know who is winning what games. But there are certain circumstances where the refs very much seem to have an eye on one team over the other to favor an outcome..
