@@wrongIQ Assuming that I know Latin would be a hilarious mistake as well. I do find the posts below the videos as entertaining and interesting as the videos themselves. It's pretty cool to be able to exchange ideas between people half way around the planet. Wasn't all that long ago, that doing exactly what this channel does, would be unthinkable. I guess that's what older people say & think. When young people know nothing else but what they hav experienced thus far in life. I'm just glad that at times I can translate the posts of others, when I am offered the option to do so. Are you all offered a chance to translate English into your own native tongue as well on this channel, in the comments section?

I agree. The play are was themed to Russian medieval times, it appeared to me, with the standard indoor playground stuff and a table activity center. We did not have time use it because you will see in the next video we spent the day filming Yaraslovl.

@@expatamerican3234 Agree with you completely. Germany has always been the cleanest country in Europe but since 2014-15, things are getting worse and dirtier. Big cities like Frankfurt and Berlin are generally terribly dirty, groomed and around dysentery. It's a pity what our countries have brought our politicians to. And with the sanctions against Russia, it has become many times worse. It was a shot in the knee, maybe even in the head.😟

@@expatamerican3234 As u know, not all Americans, but many, love cars. Cars hav been apart of our culture since end of WW2. Is there a *Hot Rodding* scene, or any type of racing in Russia? Perhaps there local car shows where regular pple meet up with there daily drivers? Thx for askin.

@@here_for_the Russians love cars but our love has completely different roots. It was hard to get a car during soviet era, so people valued what they had and for all intents and purposes a driver was also a mechanic :D Then during the 80's and 90's imported cars flooded the market, but this love stayed albeit it transformed throughout the years. Hot rods exist, but they aren't popular at all. I've seen a few, but they've looked like a showcars: flames and all. I don't think they were made for racing. The same goes for Bigfoot trucks (a few might exist across the entire country, but it's not a thing) and there's nothing like NASCAR, but outside of that racing and tuning/customs is a pretty big thing here. Which leads to tons and tons of autobloggers. The craziest one being AcademeG who constantly comes up with the most ...uh ...unusual projects. The hotel was full because they almost had no room for us. I agree this is like an average American hotel and the room was small but we try not to spend extra for more space because we only sleep in the room when we are on vacation and like to keep moving. Maybe when all our kids are adults we might want a nicer room.

@@exfa it’s a small hotel. There are bigger hotels with gym and swimming pool there. So it’s not a problem to find what you need

Наверное есть люди, которые приезжают в командировки для бизнеса и селятся в других отелях. Я согласна, что отель мало чем отличается от среднего американского.

Such hotels in Russia are mainly used for business trips or short trips. Usually they don't have stars. Just a family run hotel. You can rent such a hotel basically only with a passport or a driver's license. The average price in Russia for 1 room is 20 - 50 dollars.
