Rca screws their artists over but those in Columbia record's I have noticed gets heaps and heaps of funding allowing for ubiquitisation and unlimited promotion just throwing money at music videos, gym and work out, plastic surgery, clothes, stylist, pr/ publicists, grammy secret committees, paying good news stories, paying journalists, buying gifts to influential industry people, buying fluff pieces in music magazines, buying radio play and Spotify music lists. You can have talent but without the funding or the propaganda and narrative being constantly smashed into general public's view and mind...people just don't have time, means or interest to do it themselves.
