This week Leigh entered a half marathon race, from Cape St Francis to Oyster Bay.
We made our way to P.E (Port Elizabeth, Gqeberha) to complete some daily life tasks : Land Rover shop, car wash, grocery shopping... We met plenty of very friendly people.
Next, we were invited by a fellow Defender owner [ Justin ] on his property :
Schotia Safaris - Private Game Reserve.
What an experience !!!
Join us as we travel the world overland, exploring the cultures and traditions of all the countries we visit.
In our Land Rover Defender camper which is our full time home we will take you rock climbing, hiking and exploring across all the continents on this planet.

Thank you. In a time when the world news shows civilisation as a baby throwing toys out of a cot. This is inspiration. Such an active couple spreading inspiration, embracing all the ups and lows that we should all appreciate. Going on a Safari definitely has to be on everybody's bucket list. G&B must have felt at home. Editing is always a masterpiece, none less than that. Steph is looking shinier, with a brighter aura (let's say), looks like South Africa has some magic, even G&B's spark is brighter. ¡¡Pura Vida!! And yes, people in South Africa are excellent human beings.

We do not experience any racial tension between the ground level population groups, wherever I travel through South Africa. The tension is created by some of the political parties in an endeavour to stay relevant and in power. So glad that you experience the goodwill of the majority of the South African population. May God keep his hand of protection over you in your future travels.

It's so good to see you enjoying time in one of my old home territories. It is great to wild camp not common in South Africa as camps are mostly fenced, which really detracts from the wilderness experience.

Hi 😊, my name is Cliff. I've been following and enjoying your travels over the last few years. Welcome to South Africa. If you're traveling to KwaZulu-Natal then please visit Zinkwazi. A coastal village just past Ballito on the N2 north. If I may name-drop, it's the village that Kingsley Holgate lives in (😊 when he's not on some adventure of course). You are most welcome to stay over in a house to yourself, as a break from the camping lifestyle, for a day or two or more. Beautiful untouched beaches and Coastal Dune Forest walks. No cliff- faces to climb unfortunately 😂. Peace and quiet should you need it. Travel safely

Well done on the run, GnB Do scrub up well :) I keep having a double take on the Stephy-selfie angle when driving, and the reflection. Its almost likes shes sat in the back backwards with the reflection.

Absolutely JELLY you got to camp in the wildlife area.. we have one here in Ohio but you cannot camp with them! Stephy's looking radiant now that the stress of the build (and her husband being offshore) is over!!! Question: do you use your phones for most of the video? I saw Leigh using his and the quality didnt change at all (probably Stephy's magical editing) -Cheers

The newer Checkers stores are generally a better supermarket.

We like Checkers definitely. Especially the Feast Forage (or something like that) range. (For the cheeses 😉) And Woolworths for few things too (already cooked rice, raspberry pecan chocolate granola, salad mix …) Good shops in ZA that’s for sure.
