Radd is so interesting and enthralling. It is fast paced, unpredictable and completely hooks the audience. Wish drams like Radd, Jaffa, ZPKB, Gentleman, JSPJ could come on Netflix. They have the potential to create records.

Didn't think I'd like NoorJehan, but it hooks you. Saba Hameed is fabulous as NoorJehan; the acting all around is great, and the direction has a real made-for-the-big-screen feel to it.

You guys Hate hiba and have been criticizing her since long, even when she performs well. Radd is actually current best show of the season. Maybe ZPKB is better but no show is as addicting as Radd.

Radd: 1. I also thought that Emaan has told Maamu the truth but in the upcoming episode promo, Emaan tells Maamu that his property is not even equal to a seed of rye, so, I think Maamu was telling the truth that she has asked for money but this week we will know the real reason behind her asking for it. I feel she has made this move to make them open Salaar's books for her to review what's the real status & how much are they using Salaar truly. Salaar never reviews his books & hence, Emaan will. I still feel she has NOT asked for money for her Father's treatment bcoz that will prove Maamu right. If you remember when Salaar tells her that he is OK in her asking for money given the treatment cost, she never confirms. 2. Why Salaar's parents do not want Saman's wedding anymore - Maamu informs the family that the whole property belongs to Salaar, which was shocking for the in-laws because they were hoping that Saman will come wealthy for their son. They question the parents & demand the house be transferred in their name, if they want the wedding. The parents realize that the in-laws will now blackmail them forever to transfer property time & again else make Saman's life hell... This is one of the best Hiba's performance. She really knows her talent. Her expressions and her eyes rolling when she watches Zain or Slaar, commutes all her thoughts. ...+1 to you folks...

NJ: YES! If you guys can review Shiddat, there is no reason to not give NJ a try. The direction is so refreshing, I like Musadik Malik from Habs. It’s a done and dusted script but how Kubra comes and handles the toxic MIL would be interesting to see.

Salar parents are not confusing ,, after realizing that their daughter's in-laws are greedy because they asked money from them , they didnt wanted their kids to get married there and were already planning to cancel the marriage but meanwhile Salar did Nikah with Eeman so now Salar parents are relieved but offcourse they dont want to show that, they want to blame Salar that because of him , his sister's marriage is canceled and now mom acting like she is mad and father is acting like he is being a good father and supporting Salar

Radd: Emaan, though never perfect, one cannot dislike her. She stumbles and stands up again. Doesn't succumb to adverse situations. Hiba's acting contributes a great deal as well to make Emaan likeable. Also her strong demeanor in front of Maamu and Mother in law was quite enjoyable Similarly Sheheryar is the reason why Salaar is so liked. Salaar is shy polite by nature who's is obedient is actually not such a push over after all. He does display a lot of inner strength who took bold decisions to get married w/o bothering about the consequences and facing the rebuke as well bravely. The only weakness Salaar has and because of which he appears submission is his guilt and the high point of the drama would be when he actually overcomes that and his real personality comes out

Teri Chhaon mai: Amna is so on point, I did not watch the episode but my sister had the same comment that a grown up sensible man is reacting and staring that way is extremely awkward and not acceptable, she quit watching that after the opening scene and I am not going to watch that cringe, Amna is absolutely right.

I have an exam tomorrow and i just got done with my study break in which i was watching hassans interview with ahmed ali butt. And now when i was about to start studying again the notification for this review popped up and i will be extending my break now

Fairy tale music was intentional to get the drama popularity that fairy tale had. Hum tv does this on and off like playing Yeh Dil Ha track in Parizad. Also in Radd I think Hiba has already hatched a plan with Mamoon solve the puzzle. Mamoon asked him to marry Salar that way and play the drama so he can resolve the issue with salar after watching how bold and courageous she is on her wedding day. Iman on the other hand doest have any choice after all the melo drama happened on her wedding to accept Mamoon's offer and get her father treated.

Raad: It was clear when laeeque Mamu told salar’s mother in law to be that Salar own everything and later in a scene it was very clearly mentioned that the in laws to be have started blackmailing. The detail was given and was hard to be missed.

Noor Jahan is a nice drama and you should review it . I find direction of Musadiq Malik as refreshing and enjoyable as Habs . It date I really love Habs . It stands still so connected to me . I am not sure about reason , was it my love for performance of Feroze or drama was just interesting. But in terms of Noor Jahan it is a well executed story. None of the track bored me. Introduction of every character is very subtle and nuanced . I am watching it and wants you guys to review it .

Again the roasting of Bayhadh by Amana and Hassan is epic!😂 Please make a segment Haute Mess...with more roasting of dramas..I'd watch this for sure! 🤣😂

JAFAA: yes the music was the same from Fairytale

Mrs. and Mr. Shameem: I think the prime focus of the episodes was about judgmental notions of society. People think Shameem and Tony are the same, even the viewers who comment on the episodes. Beeji so calmly decides that Tony can marry her daughter and because Shameem could with Umi, when in fact Shameem is actually attracted to Umi and not just compromising. And the men Tony is shown involved with are not effeminate like him but society only shuns Tony and not these men who can do what they like and go back to their "normal" lives. And on Hassan's query I think Tony refers to him being okay with abuse and start considering it a "relationship" as a defense mechanism (not his overall preference of men) because nobody was listening to him. On many levels his childhood was similar to Fatima as she is smoking and being flirtatious now to rebel and on some level because it includes her consent instead of the forced setup her father pushed her into. Honestly I am finding more joy in rewatching Mrs. and Mr. Shameem because I don't find any of the current dramas worth watching except Zard Patton Ka Bun.

radd is interesting, Shahryar Munawar is just all , His presence just glowing the scenes. waiting for many secrets to be reveled in coming time.

In radd, salaar's parents didn't want to marry their son to that deaf dumb girl because now they know the reality that he is the real owner of the wealth. They wanted to hide it from them and they were taking property from them as well. So they're glad that Salaar married Emaan so now they can easily pull out of the marriage blaming it on Salaar. Mother just wanted to get done with her daughter's responsibility so she's stressing over it but otherwise father just used it to get out of that rishta. And they think that Emaan is from a poor family and they can easily manipulate her so they are playing along and trying to be nice in front of Salaar.

Noor jahan looks great with musadiq malik's direction 👌

I loved Saba Hamid’s character as ‘Zulekha’ in Dil Lagi.. She played Humayun Saed’s mom and she was phenomenal!!!! Her dialogue delivery, facial expressions, body language, everything was flawless!

Mr. and Mrs. Shameem: As a psychotherapist and someone who has read a lot of literature on trauma reaction to sexual abuse, I'd like to give my two cents. First, the topic is very complex as human mind is extremely complex and every individual's reaction to trauma can differ greatly. Victims of sexual abuse can grow up to be 1) extremely repulsive or 2) indulgent in sexual activities, which can often lead to addiction. This shows that the reaction to trauma isn't always repulsion or phobia. Now in this specific case of same-sex abuse, a child can start to question (consciously or unconsciously) his masculinity, which can lead to different outcomes. Like in this case, the character MIGHT have doubts on his masculinity as he couldn't defend himself despite being a boy (a big stigma in our society) and think that being gay is supposed to be his role. He is not masculine enough to be with a woman. On the other hand, some victims might end up hating other men to an extreme extent. Again, these things cannot be said with surety without enough history and person's thought process (which can be revealed in therapy over an extend period).

Hassan well explained and noticed about the fact in Mr. Shameem. We need more educated people to raise the right questions regarding these hidden but not right messages. Amna it is not complicated it is simple people have complicated it to make it ok to change orientation. Trauma needs to be dealt with trauma not question your sexuality.

i started watching noor jahan and couldnt watch it more than half of it as i find it very very very toxic. i dont want myself to be surrounded by such toxic and cunning people. i dont know how people in the world live with such souls. it was too much for me.

Regarding Tony, I know of someone who was abused in childhood n couldnt go bk n started w the same sex persons. I think biologically they arent changed but the trauma brings about that change psychologically. N it makes sense. I think therapy at the right time preferably, but at any time might be helpful in such cases, but then each experience is different n every individual has his own sense of processing. So no two cases can be similar. I dnt think ots a contradictory statement by him, its a fact, which happens to some people. Hope this clarifies a bit Hassan.

I am visually impaired and legally blind i cannot read books, i cannot drive and face issues in as small issues as applying equal blush on both cheeks to not being able to recognize ppl at all even at a distance of 7 feet.... Yet no one ever said to me hae bechari andhi at my face at least... I love to dress and get ready I am being loved by ppl who are approached by boys.... A brilliant student who has cleared CSS.... This dumma dumma is very painfil n regressive... It's just a disease

Shameem: this is true about a lot of sexual abuse survivors. I have seen this in a lot of law and order shows. The child if not given proper counselling, sometimes they turn into an abuser themselves. It becomes a Norm for them, not all of them but a whole lot of them like to re-live the trauma

hassan trauma is a very strange thing, victims of child abuse go on to abuse children younger to them ....its documented thing...we dont need to generalise it, its just the story of one person , should be taken individually. In this particular characters life ,it was his first exposure to any s*xual encounter .....

Radd: I think the reason salaars step mom wants samans marriage to proceed (even she has reservations) and zamin doesn’t is cause since laeek has interacted with that family, the stories salars parents have told laeek and the story they’ve told Mariam’s family (the mute girl salaar was supposed to marry) may not add up and they’re scared that if salar had gotten married to Mariam, laeek would have uncovered the truth very easily about how they truly treat salaaar. Zamin is happy that didn’t happen and thus is ready to accept Emaan who doesn’t seem to be after salaars money cause as he said, she wasn’t even aware of their financial situation. But Nadia afghans character is still worried for samans marriage cause she’s already been rejected by Zain.

Noor jahan is so interesting and we really want you two to review it. Wese I am surprised that amena didn't talk about the costumes' get ups and jewelry as she is a fashion critic too. Radd is pleasing to watch..jafa is good, but sahar is acting the same like umeed pasha. Hoping that there will be a drastic change in her character in future, where as mawara and mohib rock again.

As a student of psychology, I have read of and come across cases, where when an individual was sexually assaulted as a child, it DID end up affecting their sexual orientation. Girls and boys, both. That doesn’t mean that people may not be born with a certain orientation. But sometimes, it’s sexual abuse at a vulnerable age that may lead to the development of a sexual orientation in a certain direction, as is implied by Tony’s character in Mrs and Mr Shameem.

Radd: basically what salaars parents wanted was to get salaar married to Mariam without laeek interacting with her family. But now that he has, they’re not sure anymore and are scared he may discover inconsistencies in the story. That is how I look at it. And that’s why they were so upset when laeek met the family.
