here's my review of the Air Jordan 4 a ma maniere. very nice shoe, nice quality, I don't think they're shoe of the year though.... up there but not number 1 for me. what do you think?
Definitely a contender for shoe of the year but can agree that not top 1. Imo the shoe of the year will be the Lobsters. As for me, these 4s release the 23rd of December here in Mexico and I'm definitely trying to cop them (tho knowing my luck with snkrs it's an assured L). Also still having hope for the Lobsters as they were planned to release on the 13, were uploaded to snkrs but now they're gone, my guess is they got delayed. Copping any of those 2 would make me satisfied as I wasnt able to cop the lost and founds! Awesome video mate, cheers!
I hear you with a lot of what you said - not shoe of the year, but I think a very nice 4 collab. I pulled the trigger yesterday and I'm excited. No competition between these and lost and founds as I'm absolutely sick of 1s but I get it's a personal taste thing...Am loving the content 👌🏽
They remind me of the Jordan 5 Premium wine with the quilted beige leather liner. Which in my opinion is the no.1 Jordan 5 (in reference to your recent video), thick leather all around and they even look good when used. That wine color leather does have a nice aging process to it "like a fine wine" *badum tss*
Just got mine yesterday…..and I put them on in the car and rocked them already…👍🏽 and at the end….IT IS WHAT YOU LIKE AND WHAT YOU CAN DPEND…it is your money, spend it how YOU WANT TO PERIOD…no shoe collection is the same….
People saying it think it is their favorite and until I get my Chicago 2s in hand they are mine also. What a trifecta though 1 2 and 3 Chicago in same year can't wait for the vintage White Cements next year
I love them but agree they could have been a little more contrast but the j4 was my first j I ever got back in 89 90 whatever year the fire reds dropped I worked part time and saved up made my mom drive to a few stores to track um down and it's been love ever since
First review I have actually watched for this pair. Thanks for the review. These look nice but I'm not a big fan. I'd prefer the mock-up. For me, I'd take the 3's, then the 2's, the 1's, and the 4's last. I respect other people's opinions though.
Im absolutely in love w my AMM 4s. Yes, some contrast would have been great specifically in the form of a black swoosh and doing something different with the netting portion like a different material. overall they could have been better but imo they’re pretty great. Glad i chose these over the L&F 1s. Trust me if nikes snkr app was fair i would have both. d34th to bot users/resellers 💩

The QC on the AMM 4s is so terrible tho man. I’ve noticed literally 60% of pairs for sale will be missing a picture of one shoe because these came terribly creased. I’ve saw so many pairs like that. Not sure why they waited for such an anticipated shoe to have such terrible QC.
A really solid J4 collab but oh god, why couldnt we get the mockup... i swear i would actually pay those 500 bucks if they looked similar to that. They are still good as they are now but i wouldnt pay resell price tbh
The color blocking on the 4s have been 🗑️. These look amazing though. Love the quilted fabric lining. Definitely one of the top releases this year. But not #1
Lost and founds are over hyped. Honestly these are a solid pair of Jordan 4’s. May not be sneaker of the year but I had to get these too. It would have been nice to hit on retail but like most of the time it never happens. Great review!
I could ask every person in my college , half upstate ny and half from nyc. Not a single person would say they like the a ma maniere 4s. You sneaker heads only care about hype or if it’s not hyped or overhyped
The colours just so muted that it’s just meh. It doesn’t look good as that full overall colour to me. It seemed better when that colour was an accent colour. Everything else about them seems amazing.
What's the general consensus on sneaker of the year for everybody? I wanna say orange lobsters.... but these are definitely runner up, the presentation and reasoning behind the design definitely a boost
I agree with what Chris from Weartesters says: in order to qualify as shoe of the year, they need to be OBTAINABLE, gottdamn it. Otherwise, it’s nothin’ but hype, plain and simple.
I’d agree but I’d also say that these are attainable for 2X retail which isn’t crazy - say compared to a Travis low or a lobster which resell for way more - I think if a shoe bricking is the criteria for shoe of the year it’s a bit of a miss for me and soty should be something special
I like 4's, one of my favorite jordan silouettes but these... good quality but they look boring to me, the A ma maniere 3's and 2's look way better... Don't like the lost and found 1's too, not really into 1's tbh and they are definitely not sneaker of the year..., Georgetown 85 high 1's are way better... For me its a tough battle between the Citrus 7's, French blue 13's, Chicago 2's and the fire red 3's...🤔
I really don't understand why so many people liked the early concepts they were ugly I think the actual sneaker we got is sooo much better then military style colorblocking in the early concept
I think a lot of people are still very impressed with the 3s and the blocking is simple and clean whereas these just feel a little muted - I’m happy they didn’t copy and paste the colourway but I do understand why people prefer the mock-ups
@@sneakernomics5547 fair point and maybe my taste in shoes is just shit because I don't particularly like the AMM 3s that much is just not a shoe I could ever really see myself wearing and I typically wear my 3s over my 4s well at least my black cement 3s which are like my favorite sneaker of all time
Definitely not shoe of the year for me. They're nice, but they'd be sitting if they weren't a collab. I know that's kinda getting to be cliche to say now, but I think it's true. If the canyon purple 4s were the AMM collab, people would be calling them shoe of the year. 😂
Fire red 3s are better quality anyway. I have both AMM 4s and Fire Red 3s. Better insole, better QC, the AMMs scratch so easily and 3s are way easier to get on and off fast
Shoe is too boring. Materials look nice but i wouldnt reach for them over any OG colors. These joints also feel seasonal. The nail in the coffin is that No females will compliment these and you will have to talk to shoe geeks all night.🤣🤣
