they don’t, it just sounds bad here because it’s on the microphone and it’s not directly in ur ears. they sound pretty decent imo but the sonys r probably better
I’m a beats guy and own a boat load of headphones from multiple studio 3’s to Beats pro Lil Wayne editions, Beats executives both colors lol everything even the Bose 700’s and the AirPods Pro, Pro Max yes why i have all of these is the biggest question. Anyway i just picked these up at target a week ago to see how they were and I’m not gonna lie they sound pretty damn good better than what i thought that they would be, but Sony hands down dominates these. I personally don’t own any Sony headphones but used these before and they sound amazing. I’m a beats headphones fan but they aren’t the best just more for fashion, but they also don’t sound horrible like people make it out to be.
I believe this to be the best review for TWS headphone that I am looking for before purchasing a new pair of TWS earbuds. The contents you made answer all my concerns that other reviewers on youtube did not. thank you and looking forward to seeing more review like this from you soon.
I'm calling bullshit on this. The Sony's have terrible call mic quality, people ask me to shout all the time when I've got them on. The Beats have never provoked that response in people. I'm also concerned about the Beats sound quality comparision as, having owned both in real life, they don't sound that different. Sorry. Something's gone really wrong here especially when doing the sound recording.
After a week of usage, I have a few gripes that I didn’t initially have, and the early ones have gone away. I wish they had ear detection, I’m social and polite at the gym so I remove my buds frequently if I’m speaking with someone. I just wish they would turn off when they leave my ear or ears. And forget about it if you get them mixed up in your pocket or hands when you take them both out. Spoiler alert, the seal is so good that you can put them back in either ear - there is no left or right without head detection, maybe just some “mirror image” audio. Anyway, I love the Beats Buds. I don’t care about device switching since I only use them at the gym (which was an annoyance at first during testing.)
I think some of your audio tests has the buds not properly sealed. In the video where you compared the Samsung galaxy buds pro and Sonys, I can tell the Samsungs were not sealed properly in your test rig. They sound nowhere how it played in your video.
I brought the Xm4 , returned them for the studios , not worth $300 at all , beats are louder , yes ANC isn't better but and isn't really that important , the xm4 have extremely low volume, I don't get these receivers saying "the sound is impressive" it isn't ,don't buy then unless u like really low music .It might sound good to people who can't hear or something , I don't get the hype about sound quality . Waste $300 , try both for yourself and you'll see. Pissed me off when I waited and see all these reviews talking sound quality .
If you have tiny ears avoid xm4 at all cost they are the best for sure unbelievable sound and ANC however they gave me ear pain for 2 days after using it for 2 hours painfully painful and I am not talking about ear canal I am talking about actually ear
I think it's a big mistake from Apple that they didn't put the H1 or W1 chip in. Because I don't see the point for an iOS user to choose these $150 Beats Studio Earbuds to the detriment of Airpods-Pro that we find quite regularly at $180. For Android users too, I don't see the point as they have no particular advantage over Galaxy Buds Pro, Earfun Air Pro, Soundpeat H1, Jabra 85T, Huawei Freebuds Pro, Amazon Echo Buds 2,Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pro, Edifier Nb2 Pro...🤷🏽♂️. I don't know why but these Beats Studio Pro sound like a scam to me, it looks like Raycons.
The fact that you would even put these two against each other is absolutely stupid. One is literally twice the price of the other with more technology put into it. This is is literally like comparing a jet and a car on how fast they can go. The beats aren’t bad at all, but they don’t do everything perfectly as apple is not going to upend their own product in terms of price and quality. They produce a great seal and the anc is good for blocking out low frequency ambiance. But to take a product that is INTENDED to be the absolute top of the competition against something that’s not, doesn’t make a valid argument. It’s like wrestling with a child and winning. The Sony’s are great too, but this comparison is absolutely stupid.
Researched a lot and took a leap of faith, first time i paired, the sound was very low, i got disappointed and wanted to return it, just before packing it back, I tried again and surprisingly these were loud and loved the sound quality, I have used Jabra Elite 65t, Bose sound sport, presently have QC35 ii, these definitely sound better than Jabras, at par Bose sound sport (better bass), tried Airpods pro 2, these are definitely better
@@rdutta5368 I returned the MW08 and purchased the XM4. The MW08 sound quality is good but their sound signature is rather uninspiring and there isn't an EQ.
Some talk about the price of Sony headphones, my dear. You pay more for better sound quality to watch movies or listen to music. There is no one that competes with Sony because it supports all audio files that you can only find in large speakers
I remembered an important thing. Some large headphones over the head do not support some high-quality audio files, while these Sony AirPods support them. loool
I have to believe that the difference in sound is THAT huge between the buds? It has to be something with the testing, right? Or does it sound that different to your ears as well? Because this test make the Beats sound like $2 knock-around buds and that's not the impression that i've gotten from the reviews i've seen and read so far.
Remember a lot of people don't care about audio quality, people actually liked the old default apple buds, and those sucked. Hence why these direct recordings are always best.
@@abijeet_nair I would say so. I did, however, figure out why they sound so bad in the test. Without noise canceling/transparency on they sound bad. So my reccomendation would be to turn on either one of those. However, that decreases battery from 8 to about 5 hours, so if that's a deal breaker, don't buy them. But otherwise, they are pretty good. Also, they sometimes fall out of my ears if I'm doing something intensive, so if you use them for, let's say, workouts, they will be alright, but not the best.
during the audio sample the beats sounded like those free headphones that come with your phone while the sony sounded like a sennheiser hd600 or something
Actually used this video to see which one is better after I already upgraded to the Sony WF-1000XM4 from the beats studio buds! Listened to the video with the Sony buds! Now that's a comparison!
i own them both but the beats did a great job for this wireless earbuds despite it losing. i love the sound quality, i personally prefer it than the sonys but my opinion sucks cause i’ve always liked the iconic beats sound signature. but the anc is definitely better on the sonys. and the beats are only 150 bucks, i don’t get why y’all hate the beats tbh, they’re not the best but they do their job for 150 bucks.
@@mattAN998 the anc and transparency mode is below average at best. Beats studio buds are decent, but not worth $150. At that price point you can definitely find better options like Jabra elite. The beats studio buds are bassy and loud but that’s all it has going for it and it doesn’t have wireless charging on top of that. Now I’m not going to include Sony WF-1000 M4’s because those are on a completely different level so it’s clearly unfair to make that comparison. Aside from that beats studio buds are a solid option if you buy them during Black Friday or Holidays. Which is what I did, I got them 33% off.
@@OutOnTheTiles well the design sucks and thats enough of a reason for people not to buy them, i chose the beats over the samsung buds pro because they're way too big.
You say neither buds will fall out of their case and you turn them upside down and I can’t speak for the Sony but I see a lot of the beats studio buds at my job and if you drop the case from desk level to the carpet the chance the compact will open and the buds will fly out somewhere is HIGH in my experience.
He should’ve compared wf-1000xm3 with beats studio as they’re similarly priced…the comparison he did was pointless as it was obvious that sony xm4 would win
Are these battery life figures actually tested by you or just what the manufacturers claim? The manufacturers claim don't always translate into the real world. They tend to be inaccurate in my experience.
Nope and I have both, not even close! They not even better than my Soundcore liberty air 2! I’m returning my beats tomorrow to Apple I rather have a couple cases than to keep these earbuds.
Those liberty 🗽 sounds good. But there sound quality is muffed compared to the crisp sound of beats studios, and the pairing with the libertys is a pain, one or the other pairs never both at the same time.
I just love the ebpman sound test. Could you please try a blind comparison? Maybe the audience could compare with their own perspective and decide by their own. Just a suggestion.
Have you tried the beats studio buds? I only ask because I have them and wouldn’t say they sound like trash. I also have tried the Galaxy Buds plus, pro, AirPods Pro, XM3s, XM4s, and Sennheiser momentum 2s. My issue is most earbuds hurt my ears and the beats studio buds are actually really comfortable.
I mean when you're paying double the price for the Sony's…I'd better hope they win in every category. The Beats are for a more budget oriented audience that doesn't mind the lower sound quality and battery life. These would pair well for someone buying an Apple device and they can buy these as an add-on.
Such a shame the sonys aren’t as comfortable and the size. Are there any silicone ear tips you recommend for changing ? Also would you just say we should get the Senns instead of Sony’s
You should try spinfits. Their silicone tips are softer than most, meaning better fit. Used them for my galaxy buds. Planning to buy them again if I can't stand the foam tips
I thought it was interesting that you were saying the 'beats' are more comfortable but every point you made in comparing the fit and feel, you pointed to the wrong ear🤨🤔 And then you actually said we might not be able to tell all that much difference in the sound quality, but then you played them and it was like night and day🤨🤔 The beats sound like an old handheld AM radio that's dying while the Sony sound rich and clear and full of life. I don't know how people are so pleased with your video. I mean, at least point to the ear bud that feels better when you tell us which one feels better, instead of the opposite one you say by name. 😄 Says "beats", points at Sony... Says "Sony", points at beats 😄 Yeah this one is more comfortable... Wait, what? No this one, that one , uhh... Huh?
@@ebpman I have to take your word for it. However, if I’m trying on two different shoes without looking, I don’t think I would accidentally point to the wrong foot and say yeah that one feels better. Jussayin...
I don’t trust the Sony’s. I value call quality a lot and from the reviews I’ve seen online, the call quality is just their predecessors: STRAIGHT GARBAGE!🤦🏾♂️
Honestly I disagree with your opinion, the beats studio buds are much cheaper, provide louder audio and are probably the best sounding beats product in a while.
