I don't think that Ladakh should be included in the Sixth Schedule. Yes, it is the responsibility of the Bharatiy government to satisfy the people of Ladakh, who can be satisfied by other means as well. After the implementation of the Sixth Schedule in Ladakh, the Inner Line Permit will be implemented automatically, due to which the Central government will have a conflict with the District Council there, as is the case with other states under the Sixth Schedule. Ladakh is already a very serious area in terms of security.Yes, we are also concerned about the environment and their voting rights. The legitimate demands of the people of Ladakh should be fulfilled by the government but without compromising the integrity and security of India.

In assam,we the Rabha tribe are also demanding sixth schedule for linguistic, traditional,cultural upliftment and for recognition like Bodo tribes .

Govt has promised representation for Ladakh and also the schedule status for Ladakhis. However, it will be doing this at its own time, not because a Magsaysay Award winner funded by foreign NGOs says so, especially one who has spoken dangerous words about the Indian army and Hindu Gods. First the frontier infrastructure that was ignored for 70 years is being built up to ensure the security of the nation. Govt cannot allow "representatives" to decide on the placement and width of roads, tunnels, bridges and military camps. I used to give this channel an automatic thumbs up but no longer.

Why's there such a hurry. For 70 years there wasn't such a hurry & now have they suddenly woken from their slumber ??? It seems that of late they have got affected by a disease better known as article 370. Now LADAK has an representative in the Lokshava itself. I think there should be both systems ' legislative 'and 'without legislative ' .The former system should be implemented for caring for their own religion ,culture, and environments.But the common people can't participate in decision making for defence and border related problems(No. of army,fund for them,etc).So this particular thing should be in the hand of the centre.(These matter are crucial for our country as this region share there border with China and Pakistan) That means Ladakh can gain statehood but with the partial intervention of the centre govt.❤ What do you think guys.....

Nice one, even I had the same opinion, but more focus should be given to both developing the infrastructure and in same way not damaging the natural resources is must. And Modi gov removed Article 370, so I think they should give some time for the government to think about making it an union territory with legislature, the concern over the security issues seems valid.

We should not make Ladakh to once again become a puppet in the hands of Pakistan and China. Because they will always be looking for a chance to attack Bharat whenever possible. The elected leader to have love for both Ladakh and Bharat. He/she should improve Ladakh and also not allow China and Pakistan to enter Bharat. Because only through Ladakh they can enter Bharat. Why sonam wangchuk arguements on environment and demand of implementation of Art 370 is unrelated and its a PsyOp against india? Let's counter sonam wangch arguments pointwise 1. Ladakh is a water parched area and 'outside' tourists will damage environment:- think deeply, this is not just a problem of ladakh, it is a problem of all upper himalayan regions like spiti, north sikkim, desert regions of rajasthan, hills of south india.. but why highlight only as ladakh issue..? tourism is bringing economic prosperity to region, and now anyone can start a business in ladakh..!! What is the solution...? ladakh should invest in creating better sweage management stratergies, dry toilets, recycle plastics to be used in road construction, and define what is ecological carrying capacity for every ecologically sensitive region like other tourist destination in India and not demand Art 370. 2. Starting industries in ladakh.? Did sonam mention any announcement of any industry project by Government ? NO... then why this presumptive argument? Thats how PsyOps are done. Isn't it? Sterlite copper and ladakh seem to be connected with illusiory pollution cabal. 3. Ladakhi will join terrorists if art 370 is not restored? And ladakh was better off with J&K. 1. Most of us know Sonam Wangchuk as the 3 Idiots film was inspired by him. But a few things are not known about him which I am sharing here. 2. Sonam Wangchuk claims that he is an environmentalist and innovator but the project he started has left a grave impact on the environment including one of his Ice Stupa projects in Ganglas village where he used non-biodegradable polythene sheets to channel water for Ice Stupa. 3. That project failed and polythene sheets still damaging the environment. Villagers are opposing him now. 4. Other ice stupa projects in Phyang are just for public exhibition and people benefited nothing from the irrigation of fields as propagated by Sonam Wangchuk. in fact, due to the ice stupa project, there is a scarcity of water in Phey village. 5. Villagers have protested against him and filed a police complaint against him. Sonam Wangchuk has not even paid the premium of LAHDC Leh's land allotted for his institute HIAL. 6. Phyang villagers have given 1000 kanal land to Sonam to build HIAL within 2 years and he promised jobs to the villagers which has been not fulfilled by him. Villagers are now asking him to return the allotted land for not keeping up the promise. 7. He has also received foreign funding in SECMOL (his NGO) for various other purposes. He has also received the Magsaysay award just like Ravish Kumar and Arvind Kejriwal. 8. He reportedly charges ₹15 lakhs per hour for an offline meeting. I mean 15 Lakh!🧐 Many years ago he run away from Ladakh and stayed in Nepal for some time as people were opposing him in Ladakh. 9. He criticized Dalai Lama for the use of the Tibetan language in Buddhist texts. later He issued an apology for this matter.
