Redo the ground on the back of the truck. Just follow the harness and you'll see it. Go to the hardware store and get you a handful of those washers that look like snowflakes. They have little burrs that dig into the paint, rust, undercoat, or whatever. Put some behind every ground in the truck. It will take some time, but you will eliminate many electrical problems now, and in the future. Same for the trailer.

Heck don’t feel bad we bought our brand new gateway two years ago and it wouldn’t even take the jacks up Bc they put a wrong size gear and my dad was mad Bc we were supposed to be in ohio the best day

Great video... you might want to look in the owners manual and locate the relay that operates the tow lights.. i have seen them go bad and cause the exact issue that you have

Austin, how do you folks go about finding a place to set your camper up near the jobsite? Obviously Google, but I didn't know if there was a website or forum you used or if you called some folks already on the job there. Thanks bro for the hard work on the vids. I always enjoy them. A little of everything you said here, google, ask the weld boss or anyone else i might know on the job. Sometimes if we can't find any monthly before we get there we will stay in a nightly or weekly spot and look around more when we are there.

blue 20 amp bigger square type fuse is for your trailer running lights. i’ve blown a few. make sure to pull it check for any corrosion down in the box ya never know. but also a big thing with trailers in ground problems. but i’d say your truck is the problem on this one. cheers

Just get a cheap multimeter and check your electrical at the prongs on your truck plug. Simple check to see that they are all working.

Man our dodges have a secondary fuse box check that first the same thing happened to me in my camper it was only a fuse on my truck

I feel for Kayla I know her pain I get severe migraines at least once a month above my right eye. Some times medicine works but most of the time it doesn't.

I did check them at the shop before i left. I was pretty sure it had to be something with my truck plug since we had a pretty good referral to this place that worked on our camper.

Austin run a wire directly from your battery to a toggle switch on your dash then run a wire from toggle switch to the trailer plug for your taillights put a 20 amp fuse up by your battery and your done dodges are bad on their wiring for trailer tow especially on taillights side bad to burn up.

Austin be thankful you don't live and work in southern Alberta (Brooks , Medicine Hat, & Pincher Creek ) on the bald prairie . Cows usually graze at 70mph. and you watch your dog run away for 3 days . My dad even invented a Bull grazer for the wind . I'll sent you picture and verbiage on how it works. HAHAHAHAhaha

You forgot that all the trees lean the same way on a 45 degree angle..In that area, no compass needed. And you can only watch the dog run away to the north, south and east. West and hes gone...
