As an O's fan I wasn't expecting much in game 1 with Houston but this team grinds like no other and that will prove to be very beneficial in the post season.

As a 46-year-old Os fan, I cannot count how many times I have said that same thing. But you know what is different about this team, what makes them stand alone versus any other team I have seen play? I'm not sold on the O's making a deep playoff run. They've played the regular season with no expectations and have been loose. Come playoffs, there will be expectations; things tighten up. We'll see how they adjust. I almost think it's better if they finish in second place and keep some of that underdog vibe.

All honesty as a die hard Orioles fan, I was not surprised on how we started against Houston this is a young team trying to Show the MLB they are great and worthy of a big pay day when there rookie contract is up, luckily the Orioles have Adley and Gunnar, and Grayson under team control for the next 5 years.

Orioles will only get a bye if they hang on and grab the Al East title.
