No Greg, I'll give you one worse: the fans who will say, "Why didn't the Patriots trade up a spot to draft Daniels?" or "if only the Patriots had lost more games last year they could've had Daniels..." Yessss, cuz clearly he's headed to Canton. Next week. Let him not get his head taken off in the next year or two/turned into RG3 v.2.0, and then we'll talk. Meanwhile, Drake's a baby. Give the dude some time and quit cryin' about it.
its so funny that grey compares their stats and not their teams coaches or weapons. so very funny. maye best weapon missed multiple games and his team was no where near daniels level. gtfo with that weak argument
I agree May reminds me of a younger Josh Allen and I've said that sense we got him and hopefully he is but he definitely needs time. Allen wasn't good at all when he started if u guys remember.
He's actually going into a similar situation as Allen, in the sense he's going to start his career out with an OC who doesn't fit or promote the QB specific raw skill set. Maye has no fear when throwing into tight Windows and trusting his WRs to be aggressive and hungry to make plays. Brisset play safe, that's always been his way and it's not wrong but also not what you need as a starter in the NFL. Hence why he's been a career backup and a good one who doesn't lose you games with mistakes.
lmao drake maye will be terrible for 3 years and the whole time you'll be repeating to yourself "he's josh allen, he's josh allen, he's josh allen" then when he gets traded for a 7th, you'll say good riddance and tell yourself the next guy they draft is josh allen
I can't remember Robert playing well at all. all I remember is Shannahan talking about his concussions etc. Drake Maye could be better than Josh Allen, sorry Greg.
I recall one of the biggest knocks on JD was his weight and frame. Let's see what happens when he comes up against a stout D. Given that even the Pats beat the Bengals, I'm not crowning him just yet...
The office of coordinates a big problem with this offense right now and so is the talent level but the talent level could be overcome slightly with a good offensive coordinator that develops the quarterback around his talents and that's how you do it what do you think he's doing with that what do you think they're doing with the with the
I predicted 3-14 prior to the season started, I stand on my prediction. They need to draft a LT and sign an elite WR in FA to have a chance to win some games.
Please tell me where this "elite" WR is coming from? There are ZERO elite WRs available in free agency in 2025. You have Tee Higgins who really is not elite but a really good X. There aren't any teams winning superbowls with just a top X WR and not a really good Z ala Chase or in the case of Chiefs a Kelce at TE to create short to intermediate yards. I think we have good talent at WRs in Douglas and Polk. Under AVP you won't take a lot of shots anyways so a "top X" is gonna be a bit wasted in a AVP offensive scheme. I am in the minority but I don't hate Ty Thornton. I think, like many other Belichick draft picks, it's not his fault he was drafted 3 or 2 rounds sooner than his talent or college play called for. My biggest problem with Thornton is his lack of aggression and confidence unlike Baker who has too much for his talent or own good. Next season, yes I am looking to next year already as I always knew this was your true rebuild, focus on LT with your top 7 pick. But there are some RFA young LT, you might want to spend a pick and money on to get a head start instead of waiting on a rookie LT to develop through the season. (There's no stud LT who is going to step in right off the bat for you, even Joe Alt has been up and down as a rookie LT.) If you can get the starting LT from trade or signing, then focus on stud CB in the 2025 draft. The defense needs a better CB2 across from Gonzo. It will also help your pass rush which is better than you see right now. (Hopefully Barmore will be back and White will be even more of a monster.)
…Jayden had a LT (Will Campbell) and RT (Emery Jones) who could both go top 10 in the 2025 draft. He also had Malik Nabers (6th overall) and Brian Thomas Jr (23rd overall) to throw/hand off to. So he had, at the minimum, 3 top ten picks and four first rounders. Who did Maye have? He’s a ‘looking to run early guy’ according to Gregg because a lot of his plays were busted early. He’s almost five years younger than Jayden as well, so we’ve got a bit to see what Maye’s physical peak looks like. Anyone who says they know their comparative ceilings…doesn’t. It’s three games into their NFL careers. Chill.
Anyone saying Maye’s ceiling is higher than Daniels is delusional. A far more accurate Randle Cunningham is the highest ceiling humanly possible. He just had arguably the best college season ever. With a far weaker roster, looked levels above Joe Burrow. Believe your eyes.
@@terrencegibbons3351 how many starts has he missed in 6 years of college (2 in the SEC with tons of NFL players)? you know he weighs more than Lamar right? He needs to slide more which he started doing a little in that game, but drop back qbs get hurt like crazy too, they are more vulnerable as we saw last year when like every starter in the league was injured
@@Bone_youtube_soft I’m not ahead of myself at all because I never said who will have the better career. A lot of factors go into that. But Daniels is far more physically gifted than Maye. He had double the TDs and threw half the interceptions and played in a 10x tougher conference. I hope Maye is great. All I’m saying is the “higher ceiling” thing is not close to true. And daniels has mvp talent. Let’s see what the team does with that talent
It's snowing situation with you guys really is you keep on defending the the coordinator the coordinator is part of the problem you got to realize that he has to that Drake may she be playing
You are so ridiculous Jaden Daniels play for LSU we had great talent around him he had a great offensive line the other reason why it's going to be different is because the office of coordinator for Washington is LSU's l system to help this kid now don't give me that bologna he's not that far off the problem is they're
First of all he has to pick a quarterback and he has picked the wrong quarterback because he can't he can't coach them quarterback he came with around him because he's a one-trick pony and that's a shame
What are you doing with Jacoby brissett what are you doing with this offense what are you doing what are you doing to analyzing something you don't know what you're talking about I'm sorry I'm sick of her dad and I'm sick of you
Let me ask you a question why are you supporting Alex Van pelt is he a friend of yours I mean do you owe him money I don't get you you keep on bashing Drake me over and over and over again but no reason there isn't a reason he's not playing they don't they make all excuses why he's not playing cuz this coordinator wants him to fit his system with his system
