If Drury was able to move Trouba's contract we would now have Stamkos or Marsessault or Tarasenko on the roster..🙄

The Rangers have prospects to work into the line-up yet, and another trade deadline 2024/25. I think the Rangers will be just fine IF their D pairs learn to defend.

i like our roster. We won the presidents trophy with it and the big teams in the east lost alot of players. Florida isnt the same nor is Carolina.

Thank your colleague Larry Brooks for undermining the Rangers’ plans with his reporting on Goodrow not being happy with how the waiver claim went which is speculated to be the reason that free agents and their agents didn’t want to sign with the Rangers and for giving Trouba a heads up on the trade to Detroit which lead to him adding the Wings to his no trade list. Brooks needs to be denied any access to the team going forward.

lol other teams have improved but we're content with a team who couldnt score 5on5, and was physically outplayed all playoffs, esp vs florida? Drury should be fired. hes had a chance to fix things but like we saw at this years trade deadline, he didnt do shit this free agency.

I would not be shocked if we miss the playoffs altogether. Just seems like a lot of Rangers had a career year and poised for regression. Everyone literally in the conference got better and we traded Goodrow for two spare parts. Not going to cut it.

If they want to trade him he has 15 teams he can’t go to. They have all the ones that aren’t on his list. If he won’t report to one of them teams that is breach of contract and should be released immediately from contract. Worse case waive him.

I'm sorry but this is so far the worst offseason for the Rangers in decades. Not only the team is not significantly better but they screwed up with chemistry and that is not good. I hope the words "so far" are not used in vain and that we will be surprised but it doesn't look promising. :(

Detroit guy here. What the heck is going on with this situation. We have plenty of hospitals and opportunities here for her to work. Nothing I’m seeing online says you can’t switch states during residency. She’ll just have to apply for license in MI. Is this an excuse for something else? I’ve never heard anything close to this before and I doubt trouba is only player in nhl history to marry a doctor.

This core has proven that they can go no further than 10 wins in the playoffs. A sulking 3rd pair defenseman eating 8 mil a year captaining the ship does not seem like a winning formula. They added two spare parts while giving up yet more assets. I don’t understand how these two scrubs will put us over the top.

Come on Rangers Fans, been 1 all my life What has Drury done in 4 yrs being here besides trading our #1RW for a bag of Pucks ? And you know who i mean. A dozen top picks in 4 yrs and not 1 player to show for all the draft capital spent ! Hes playing a Lineup ( Core) he didnt even have anything to do with bringing here except Trochek on Gallants urging, who by the way was furious how Drury screwd the team to bring an injured Kane here . Tember playing 4dmen for 3 straight games ? How about scratching #50 this year yr and screwing the kid outta a $80k bonus THIS IS WHOS RUNNING THE RANGERS ! GOOD LUCK

This GM completely fumbled this year. Another year of making it to the second round of the playoffs and losing. Calling it right now and GM should lose his job bc of this terrible off season and Trouba debacle.

The media is certainly not helping in this off season. All these reports, bla, bla, bla…and here we are. No one thought the Rangers would win the presidents trophy last season. Hell, I didn’t expect them to reach the eastern finals. But they did. I have faith in Drury. Has be made some bad deals or decisions, ya. Could you do better? If Drury gets let go after this season, I would love to see Brooks run the organization as Drury’s replacement.

No.....he just screwed up yet again. There's no cup on our future with him running things. All he managed to do is create more holes in the lineup and severely damage the locker room. He sucked at captain.....sucks at GM. Send him back to Buffalo. His abilities can probably improve THAT team......but....not ours. .

I hope Trouba realizes he's hated amongst the fans. I was already sick of defending his constant dirty play and terrible defense. Now he actively submarines our last chance at a cup before a decade of cap hell. Boo this man every second he is on the ice.
