New Orleans resident life long saints fan the current version of Sean Payton was not the version we had in New Orleans Sean should of retired and stayed in the saints organization and probably will happen when Denver fires him lol he will always have a home here Carmichael was part of the problem here now Denver has him it’s yalls problem

@@jpsoldier24 yeah, and DB9 would have been mediocre without Sean. A lot like Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold, and lots of other high draft picks that flame out. Heck, how good would Archie have been if a competent team had drafted him? The whole Saints organization was grossly incompetent until Benson bought the team, bringing in Jim Finks and Jim Mora Sr.

The Media is so defensive about their bad prediction. Football 101. The Steelers and the Vikings and even the Saints over the last decade rarely if ever come in last place in their division. It just doesn't happen. Thats why they have to settle for hand me down QB and turn them into stars or trade up in the draft to have a shot at a prospect. Yet the clown shows always act surprised when they win.

Young OCs see Peyton Manning and the Sean Payton/Drew Brees offense, and don't realize that it takes HOF-level QBs to run them. Besides Carolina offense coaching, any QB only plays half the game; he hasn't gone 2-16, the *team* has gone 2-16.

Never forgiving Mark for the way he talked about Tebow (& pretty obviously being Elway’s mouthpiece at the time). The fact the Broncos and Jets subsequently spent SO many resources to get QBs other than Tebow reminds me of the concept of the gift horse. The funniest thing is Peyton had worse stats than Tebow in the Super Bowl year, yet leaving them with no QB going forward.

I love Marks breakdown of the offense with Carr… in Oakland Gruden gave him too much too often. Grudens first time in Oakland they ran a few principles and they ran them super well but in a lot of cases people go from green to rotten quickly. So it’ll be important for Kubiak to keep it simple for Carr if not he will go off the rails and it’ll get ugly. I’ve seen enough of Carr to be full of doubt and I am not sure I will fully buy the Saints because of that. Let’s see in a few games when teams have film of Kubiaks tendencies.

With all that said it comes down to 100% health Alvin Kamara , he hasn’t run like this in three years. The secondary can’t commit to pass coverage until Alvin is accounted for.

The overall point about egotistical play-callers is great. I'm glad to hear someone other than me call it out. It's because of this that the Steelers might be about to collapse. Fields has regained his college form. It's not *_his_** fault* the team nullified all his great passes by drawing penalties. The reason he needed to regain his form though was that his own HC was deliberately sabotaging him. We know this because Fields publicly said that "my coaches are confusing me as to what they want me to do." If I'm the HC & not the one doing this, wouldn't I have fired the coach who was? They didn't *do* that. But after being called out, the team _did_ change their play-calls & for 4 weeks they averaged 31 points a game. Here's the thing though: they averaged 17.3 ppg the rest of the time. So Fields could score 17 points before they acquired D.J. Moore on a team where his own OC was sabotaging him? Arthur Smith is getting less out of him with an élite WR while _NOT trying_ to sabotage him. It's only a matter of *when* this catches up to him, not if.

The drop in quality for QBs has fallen bigly. I remember when they used to throw 30-40 times a game and get 4k yards a year! Now they call them 🐐 when they throw 20 times a game for less than 250 yards!

Nix is NOT the answer we need to put a plan in place to get Archie 2.0 & Sark in 2-3 years when they are available... and like I said pre draft JD was the BEST of the bunch & DM #2 the rest were not worth drafting that high- in a stocked draft we needed to TRADE DOWN collect extra picks for 2026-7 & still get an excellent player in the 2024 stocked draft- that way we build a TEAM in preparation for Archie 2.0 & something that attracts Sark so that we can be good from the jump for them & they can then lead us to a Championship... instead our dum dum gm who always makes us worse & the other Teams better regardless of what side of the transaction he is on has ruined the Team for a decade & is now setting us up to be the worst Team in the NFL for another decade... TWO things- 1 ON the FIELD & 1 at the PODIUM tell you everything you need to know about nix: On the Field: Game 1 >>> the SELF SACK where he strolled OOB like dapper dan on his way to a mint julip refill at the Kentucky Derby... like even pop warner kids don't do that At the Podium after the week 2 disaster where we went from 20 points in game 1 to 6 points in game 2 yet HE took steps forward >>> He said there are more important things in LIFE than football

@@StinkinTruthPodcast As a former Broncos fan since 1983, I stopped supporting the team when they brought in Sean Payton, who, after Bounty-gate, doesn’t deserve to be in the NFL. I used to think he was brilliant with X’s and O’s, but this team looks like he’s the rookie, and I’m loving every minute of it. If your head coach has disrespected the very spirit of the game why would any player respect him as a man???

Saints fan here.The Philadelphia Eagles are good but ehh so im not worried about the Saints playing them,I feel the Saints need respect put on their names if they can go in Arrowhead stadium and beat the expected 3 peat champion Chiefs.That’s gone be the cherry on top if they can win that game.Also they got to at least get a Bucs win.

So the trend is reverting back to the power running game. I've notice that as a Saints fan that they have thrown the ball about 40 times total in their first 2 games, yet they are right behind the record of scoring in the 1st 2 games with 91 points.

The problem from the jump was the FAILURE to recognize that if you wanted Young then you had to put together a MASSIVE TOP 3-5 OL to dominate DL & open up pass lanes, then you needed a Play Action, Screen, Draw, Boot Leg heavy scheme & the sets you needed to Utilize would have HEAVY SETS that you could run different short routes out of in the bash & bounce game like 2- 3 TE and extra OL checking in as TE etc... bcuz they never acknowledged that Young is way short & they needed to tailor an OL for him special- they have him on tip toes & doing jumping jacks which has screwed his accuracy & now has cratered his confidence... worst thing you can do to your QB is convince him he isn't good enough for the NFL & he never will be... the panthers have succeeded in both & this benching is just the gotterdammerung for their gm & owners rampant stupidity in engineering the acquisition without having a plan in place post acquisition to make the thing functional > enjoy your eternal damnation for being a douchebag during your time here on earth.
