Do you see their picks? 2 full massive ap damage with karma and Elise, he wanted tf, but he can’t pick it with 0 engage except jax and tfblade has played terribly throughout every single scrim
@@akame4403tf blade has been performing the entire time, the actual only player who has consistently done his job and been in positions to carry 90% of these games
They did say that but Dantes said that if they get a game with strong side Tfblade (first game he got jax which is what they considered strong side top) so he was the one making calls instead of yamato that game. I know what you mean, they just inverted the order of the "game plans"
@@neoMushroom You'll notice pro teams don't generally stay silent for some reason. Almost as if there is some value in communication even if you're not making an aggressive play.
Hi Dantes, I've studied leadership and team communication a lot and I'd like to point out a few things. It's great you're doing communication exercises with your team. I specially liked the one where everyone had to say something positive. Here are my suggestions to try and improve communication and overall positivity: - In VOD reviews, highlight good plays aswell. Positive reinforcement helps players feel good about themselves and it would also contrast the recurrent cloud of negativity/toxicity. - In VODs, if someone suggests a potential play that could've been made, do NOT interrupt them, say they are wrong right away or justify the original play. Any idea should be immediately received with curiosity, and judged when the idea is fully explained. Emphasys on this one! - At the end of every scrim session, everyone should self evaluate. In that session, what did they personally improve on, what were their mistakes and their good plays. Reminder that if you want to communicate something post-game, do not let people interrupt and shame you for trying to use clear and thorough language. I point this out since Yamato did do that when you were all talking post-game about starting to play around bot side (finally) and letting TFBlade weakside. You and your teammates are all very bright people that can deduce what you would say most of the time, but it is better to speak it out anyways. In my country we have a saying, it is better to prevent than to remedy.
Hi, i am also currently learing about leadership and i got the same spark forming my interest. What do you think of my finding? What a goldmine! :) Also commented this; Dantes i hope you read this. You are actually showing great improvement in leadership skills. Actively dropping your ego, tarzaned flaming him for a bad play, the pauze (3th game) nearly got to you in think. Not because he attack his skills, but it’s disrespectful considering how you are trying to socially lead the group by example. This changes the normal banter dynamic between the two. Anyway, Dantes could have spoke out , but he decided to lead by example and not feed that comment, stepping over his ego. I think its because he knows tarzaned doesn’t mean it like it. Tarzaned is just a realist by extreme. He probably has the lowest intentions of personally hurting someone instead of winning the argument. Detention is a polar opposite of this and uh, a bit of a gatekeeper? Man the dynamic of this group is pure gold for the potential of how all the characters can enhance eachother. Dont. Quit. Norming, Forming, Storming, Performing. Just dont let it explode over nothing, ego is the biggest risk of this going wrong. In a weird way tarzaned is not the biggest risk in this, just the trigger i think. And that is good in a way, but anoying. Also, TF Blade muting himself, is a double edged sword for the group dynamic. I think he knows he has to and its stepping over his ego, but this is a bit devaluing for him i think. Cause he does really well and is already quite solo top and willing to sacrifice for the team. This behavior dropping might be the best symptom of the group dynamic improving.
It's probably because they're just very different people off stream and on stream. Off stream they're good friends r chill and only on stream they flame and blame. Sure maybe in game they're mad at each other but off the game none of them want to leave their friends hanging by quitting on them. Edit: aight nvm, I just watched 50:50 and this is a ticking time bomb
@@GoodBoyDannyI’d say yamatos a way better player than them and thats why he acts like that the only really good player is Tarzaned and they kinda respect each other
@@bbreos5301 tarzaned 10x better jungler but dantes 100x worse support so it has to be done, unironically they would win hard if dantes wasnt on the team
These mofos need to stop trying to force literally every play. There's zero adaptibility, shit comms, and massive ego. I'm also getting sick of them making a plan before the game about who will do what and then immediately throwing it out. If you watch the full VOD on twitch, it's even worse than the editted version you see here. Props to Detention for not dying of brain cancer after getting left at level 3 EVERY GAME. I love these guys individually and they're all good players but damnnnn do they suck at working together.
i try not to comment since these guys are way better than me, but, holy, it triggers me to watch these guys (that i mostly liked) play as a team, makes us look at them in a different light
its like u have no clue how rough it is on these teams and its so easy to judge others they are acutally doing a good job imo every team has problems at least they address them and no one checks out
@@isoldmymumforrp5371you said it yourself though, no one plays around him. Dude is getting perma frozen and 2v1’d, what do you want him to do, pull a pentakill with zero recourses? Dantes never plays bot, Zaned is perma roaming and team is losing without even getting anything from their plays while keeping detention perma weak side with little to no help. How is it his fault exactly, how?
They'd still be garbage. Tarzaned TFBlade and Yamato all have insane egos and tilt at the first mistake, the game is over once any of them gets slightly annoyed. They cannot admit mistake or put things aside to discuss after the end of the game. SoloQ skill is secondary in proplay, they will only win games if all stars align and all of them stomp their lanes.
That bomba was pretty clean tho(even tho his team fucking SCRAMBLED from that nami ult, despite them being samira olaf and gragas... like... who the fuck is that hitting?
TF needs to reel it the fuck in honestly. He's not trying at all to be a teammate. It's not about being right or wrong and winning the argument, but working together for a common goal, for better or for worse. If you lose it's as a team. If you win, it's as a team. No one wants Reginald as a fucking teammate. "Haha it's content" but you're really going to be bottle-necked by him if you can't get him to cooperate, lower his temper, and take this seriously.
Him and Tarzaned are the best on that team and oddly enough it’s Tarzaned that isn’t being egotistical about that fact and actually cooperating. If I didn’t know any better I would assume Tarzaned was the one egoing and TF Blade was the leader.
i think they should make it a rule to not tell anyone how the game is played WHILE IN GAME and should only be able to say their opnions AFTER THE GAME maybe also make them do the maplphite dance as punishment if they dont abide i think idfk.... i am low elo pleb Edit: detention and dantes talks bout it and im dumb for not finishing the vid
Yeah, even if a teammate hard inted a play the most important thing is to not flame them. In game you only talk about what's happening and what to do next not about past mistakes
TF Blade is really good about calling when to play slow, because you have more options, if you have more champs then you have time to set conditions most of the time. TFBlade makes a good point about sharing information, calling jg position when he shows on map
Yeah but problem is Dante’s always thinks he’s right same goes for Tarzaned they are talking about irrelevant plays to see who’s right but if they talk over the game in general they would even improve
This is much better than last video in terms of Dantes' mindset. Good to see taking accountability and identifying key weaknesses (communication focus)
this discussion at 01:20:00 honestly i think the problem is tarzan doesnt see it as a coinflip bec he knows how he is gonna execute it and knows it can be done. But the rest of u werent prepared for this execution because you were just going for drake play, which is the safer play. However if u wouldve known the samira windwall would come, if u would know tarzan ults the nami out of tower range, then it was a relatively free kill. So my point; at that moment in time it felt like a coinflip play but looking back on it it wasnt. But it also wasnt a play that was necessary. keeping grag ult and playing for drake = free drake and still have a (dis)engage or whatever
@@waycong518 he is not fking up he draft its a team that does, he ask them about what they want etc, they all playing bad compared to how they really are
I think he tries to shove some problems under the rug, and doesn't address them properly after the fact. Letting your team beef over unimportant stuff is just part of the process, you gotta trust they'll be able to work it out without you sometimes.
I agree with you dantes, compared to the previous scrim videos this scrim actually felt more productive. The results still werent the best, but you are still in the trial and error phase of building a team dynamic. Sure there are allot of strong personalities and you are all passionate about the game, which can lead to the passive aggresivness and slight flame in game, but the post game talks seems to have gotten more productive. For example TF Blade emphasising it isnt anything personal, you are all just passionate about the game and want to win and when that win doesnt happen it gets you emotional. I commend you, as well as detention, for doing your best to keep your cool and focus on the main goal ahead, as I feel you two are detrimental in keeping the team together as it stands now. GGs and good luck in Brazil when the time comes.
He and TF Blade are the only ones with actual organized play experience, and unexpectedly it’s Tarzaned that isn’t being a tyrant and trying to foster cooperation.
Idk if you're watching the same video but tarzaned is literally trying to start shit the whole time. He becomes the worst player on the team the second dantes gets his shit together.
Tarzaned was okay in previous scrims, but in this one he's just perma being passive aggressive and insulting people. Dantes was trying to calm people down the entire time and Tarzaned would just continually sabotage him and pick more fights.
yeah.. i fear that they will have to do the L in this CBOLÃO. Those gringos will have theirs purple eaten. with that said, lovin the commitmemt from dantes to really improve as a team and taking it seriously
Regarding the mid play where gragas ults nami in. In pro play its better to commit on a non standard play, than to play standard and basically tell your teammate straight to his face "i dont trust you". On the flip side, when tf blade tells you "NO" when u ask if hes gankable, you still run there and tell him to hold the wave. Tfblade trusted the call, even if its not what he should do on paper. I wont even get into you being behind your samira in that fight aswell.
It’s crazy that Dantes is the voice of reason in all of these videos, and that he’s the only one that’s trying to keep the team together everybody else is just yelling at each other😂

Dantes clearly put a lot of effort into preparing for these scrims. Prepared team building/communication strategies and made better macro calls than before. People still seem to struggle to admit mistakes/accept other viewpoints as valid in vod reviews, and some calls are still split in game, but it definitely seems to be getting better overall.
notice how they won alot more when they did have a coach bbut the issue is dantes doesnt want to be a slave tank jgler so idk if hes even gonna consider bringing back the coach.
their draft is so cooked. perma roaming sup so bot lane is instantly lost. nasus mid so against trist so no prio on the whole bot side perma. what do they even do.
1:21:41 I love how they've both been arguing for 5 minutes on this Nami interaction, but the samira 2 feet away couldve just right clicked Nami while she was stunned for the dash attatched to her passive and she would've killed her for free 😂😂. Why are tarzanned and Dantes both blaming eachother when it's clearly samira fault for not autoing someone once within range and kill range while stunned lol.
Ay each of you experience the rift differently so you need to all need to only give your 100%, you just cannot comment in-game regarding teammates decisions just leave them. Each of you are such brilliant players, you don't think your "plays" are going to come and flow so naturally when you stop forcing them. Question to each of you, if one of your teammates uses their brain and comments on another's plays, surely they ain't giving their 100% needed? Come to terms with the role of importance each of you carry maybe you'll just see these absolutely CRAZY plays coming together
XFSN Saber talks about tethering your teammates in a video. counting your numbers is important for team fights and deciding when a play is good. Anyone that's not accounted for and MIA, then that person gets added to the fight. UNLESS THE PLAY IS FREE!! But just knowing with vision is just as good! Tempo first, and warding out with each push for laners and jungle in the mid-late, the game sways in lanes, but in mid-late the game sways w teamfights, vision, wave/mapcontrol, objectives, Shotcallers should should consider all information, tracking cooldowns is hard but it's huge even teammates coolodowns, Team tracking, coordination, and taking shit for free ((valuing **tempo** over kills **because you can backk off onto objectives later** with that tempo, you even mentioned dragon))
Idk why they refuse to just play normal. You can’t win consistently if you’re picking troll shit bot and perma roaming support. Adc is strongest role in high level games and they just ignore it.
16:20 after canceling bad back last second dantes walks into jungle then presses his CC on krugs and then walks back and forth with 1 hp in front of renekton and has to burn flash… this macro makes absolutely no sense dantes listens to 0 correct call tarzaned will make and runs it down solo on repeat lol. Even if the calls aren’t correct theoretically it’s crazy not listening to the shotcaller.. in soloq it’s fine to ignore calls but in organized it makes no sense
Tarzaned executed a flawless setup for a free kill right before the dragon spawned. Let go of the ego, mate; Nami was practically one hit away, and he used his spells just like her.
i don’t understand why they are arguing about the play top renekton just press r q and he’s full hp under turret and insta kills the minion wave even if you hit the 3 cc i don’t think they have enough dmg to stop him from r qing
Props to Dantes for having the balls to admit last few scrims were his fault. He played better in these games too but this time TFBlade Tarz and Yamato griefed. Too many egos on one team, even with Dantes reformed i don't see how they can hope to compete in Brazil
