In this video, I hunt for every Saddle that the Trapper sells to show you what they look like and also show you the statistics of each so you can decide if they are worth hunting for. 🐴 #reddeadredemption #rdr2 #gaming
If you are doing anything with perfect pelts always get the legendary buck first and go to the fence to get the legendary buck antler trinket it gives you a better chance of getting perfect pelts.
Or if your time is tight and valuable, you can install Rampage Trainer, that's how you get all the necessary flawless pelts. If you're going to hunt dangerous animals, find a high rock to climb on.
Yes I think your right. It has the best stats for your horse. Some don't like the look of it. I like the beaver saddle too for the look. The stats are pretty close. 😊
YES, the Trapper saddles ARE worth it. They are objectively better than all other saddles. *Trapper saddles, Top-3* Snake: -22% HCDR, -24% SCDR, +24% SRR --> balanced, total of 70% bonus stats Panther: -20% HCDR, -26% SCDR, +24% SRR --> stamina-focus, total of 70% bonus stats Beaver: -26% HCDR, -20% SCDR, +24% SRR --> health-focus, total of 70% bonus stats -> all Trapper saddles also has a "hidden" stirrup bonus (similar to your best stirrups, ie. 'Hooded' stirrups) -> has +2 speed, +2 acceleration and -50% SDR, from "hidden" stirrups bonus. -> But, cannot be customized *One of the top-3 best Stable saddles* Gerden Vaquero (improved) : -14% HCDR, -16% SCDR, +16% SRR --> balanced, total of 46% bonus stats -> has +2 speed, +2 acceleration and -50% SDR, with the best 'Hooded' stirrups. -> CAN be customized (color, grip horn, etc.) *NOTES* HCDR: Health Core Drain Rate SCDR: Stamina Core Drain Rate SRR: Stamina Regen Rate SDR: Stamina Drain Rate BUT, MOST IMPORTANTLY... that said, the stats really doesn't control the gameplay, they only affect it slightly, so the best option is really to choose what saddle/equipment you personally like the look of and like the best! ;)
Tottaly agree. I use the panther and snake mostly and less times the gator one. the gerden vaquero improved with hooded stirrups is also pretty decent, but outmached by at least 5 or so (if not more) trapper saddles. Cheers.
Another great place to find a lot of snakes is along the river by black bone forest leading to lake Owanjiwa. I found at least 6 just riding down there.
Cougars spawn all over the woods of Lemoyne, but there is almost always one west of Van Horne, near the Viking burial site. You can also check near the River that falls into Onjwanila.
Yes sorry about that, this was my first time trying to make an informative video like this, (and my first time attempting voice-over 😬) and I realise I didn't add a lot of information that I should have. But as to where to find the Cougars- The Cougar I found in the video was right next to John's house at Beechers hope. And as a few of the replies mentioned, they are also frequently found west of van horn and annesburg, near the Vikings tomb.
@ManarKazi I started playing rdr2 a few months back and was watching shorts about it, and I thought it might be fun to try make some myself. I enjoyed editing the shorts so I wanted to try Long-form videos again. I stopped making the videos i used to because I didn't have much time, or a very good computer for editing on. But now that i have a (slightly) better computer, and a little more free time I'm hoping to upload a video every week if I can, because I had a lot of fun making this one 😀
@@RandomJemmo any rifle except repeaters and the .22 varmint. the springfield, bolt-action, rolling block rifle, carcano (but it will be to late in the game for me imo, till you get this rifle), with high speed or express ammo to be even surest, or Improved Arrows/ Poisoned arrows. Aim to the head to get more assurance for a perfect pelt. Also It would do no harm if you already have the buck antler trinket with the buff/perk to increase the quality of your skin pelts. Again, very nice video. Cheers.
Ah sorry about that, really should have compared them to the ones you can buy from the stables, My bad 🤦♀️(first video excuse lol) But yes they are definitely worth it, each one has better stat's than the ones you can buy. They each have -50% Stamina Drain and +2 Speed Rate, which is really good.
@@RandomJemmo yeah, they all give better stats that even the gerden vaquero improved saddle, say, with hooded stirrups. the only con it's they're not customazible, So no color choice, stirrups, etc, but imo their superior stats overcome the fact they can't be customized.
Got the bear pelt first, took it to the trapper, bought the saddle and message says pick it up at the stables. Went to stable in valentine, and there's no information there on any new saddles. Does it have to be a specific stable?
all trapper saddles give you by far better stats then any other purchable saddle with customization. The best for me are the Panther, Snake, Beaver and Alligator, with Panther getting 1st prize imo, all with stats above even the gerder vaquero improved saddle, say with hooded stirrups. that's why they're tottaly worth it.
Every Trapper Saddle is better than the ones you can buy from the stables, each one has -50% Stamina drain and +2 Speed rate. Each does have slightly different Stamina drain, Hp drain and Stamina regen. So it depends if you want slightly more health or better Stamina. It also depends on your horse as some have less health, less Stamina etc, and also which you like the look of better. So Its up to personal preference whichever one you choose 🙂
