Sir my daughter 8 yrs and son 5 yrs both have diagnosed membranous neph with proteinuria +2 and both are on ramipril 5 mg and 2.5 mg respectively. Daughter (SRNS) also taking cyclosporine 0.5ml bd. Antibody tests are negative. I want to ask about the genetic test available? and the treatment currently going on.
I was diagnosed with Nephrotic Syndrome at 16 years old. My body were resisting steroid (Prednisolone specifically). After few cycles of increasing the dose, my body doesn't show any improvements. My specialist introduced Cyclophosphomide dose for my treatment and oh boy how my health recovered speedily. I have stopped treatment and follow ups since I've recovered more than 17 years ago. But I am really worried because lately (actually for some time let's say 8 months) I am experiencing stabbing pains at the lower area of my back (specifically the kidney area), and left-centre abdominal pain. And a mysterious hard rock lump forming on top of my knee cap as well (I don't know this is coincidental or related). Is this a possible kidney related issues?

Yes , muje abhi 1 month hua and Dr muje daily 60mg lene ko bola hai , ab next week ko report karwane hai bad me 20mg kum krega , Bhai aap apne bare me btao kab se nephrotic aapko , muje abhi 1 month hi hua pta chale uske .
Lekin cyclosporine 25mg ka chala jisse body weakness and bahut side effects example conversion,high BP, High serum urea, High blood sugar ho gaya uske bad death kar gaya
Sir mere niece ko nephrotic syndrome hai steroid chalra so time normal tha but steroid ke 3month hogaye baat rok diye baat, phir strip test ke baat halka sa blue aaya jaisa dekhra unko. Kya wo phir se relapse aane ka jaisa hai kya. Aur ka body steroid dere jab se swelling aana shuru hui thi abhi tak swelling the lekin jab test me normal aara tha. My son suffering from SDNS and Dr consul retuximab 400 mg 4 dose total now 3rd dose done and 7.50ml omnakortil forte and levamisole alt days, calimax p 2 times but still not any response+++ protein going on Dr says injection response will be taken after sometime but no side effects of this injection but it's costly . Sir, my son aged 14 years diagnosed nephrotic syndrome since 7 years . Protein +++ now and then. Once stop Prednisone, again it comes after 4 months or 6 months. We can not see any adema but when we suspect, we check his urine showing protein leakage. His weight ,height is normal sir pls advise me.

@@Utkalblog agr steroid dependency hojate haii tab ..alag alag medicine try krte haii unka pura chart hota haii mmf derhe haii or steroid ke dose Kam krrhe hai....agar mmf Kam krrhe haii to steroid ko band krdete haii...mere bete ka 2.5 mg omanacortil plus mmf chlrhe hai....dhere dhere 2.5 mg ban krke. Mmf 2 3 year chalayege.....
Hey Sir my daughter has been taking Tacrolimus for about 2 years now 0.5mg twice a day now the doctor has recommended us Rituximab to lower the dose of Tacrolimus as you mentioned Rituximab response rate is just 27% what if did not work she has to continue taking Tacrolimus even if over 2 years? Steriod doesnt work on her.
