Interesting. I've not been getting the trader quests when I finish a tier of jobs for the traders. I thought maybe they'd been taken out of the game. I just finished the tier 3 jobs too. Now I did tweak the biome percentages to give myself a little more snow and wasteland and a little less forest and desert. But not that much, and all traders are still present in the game. But maybe any tweaking disables the trader quests? Dunno, not a big deal anyway.
With the 1.0 release, the traders are all connected and a little weird. Each trader spawns in a specific biome, and each will send you to the next Tier 1 - Rekt - Forest Biome Tier 2 -Jen - Burnt Forest Tier 3 - Bob - Desert Tier 4 - Hugh - Snow Biome Tier 5 - Joel - Wasteland You can do the quests in any biome you'd like, but to get the trade route quest, you need to go to the specific trader, so they'll send you to the next one
@@LambiPlays Thank you for the info. I think I finished all the tier 1 quests via Rekt, but I didn't get the option of the special job to go toJen so maybe I didn't - can't remember. But I had a real sweet setup where I had a small town in the forest right next to a huge town in the wastelands, and Joel was pretty close to that small town. So I just jumped right into the wastelands for the trader quests. Using Joel would explain all the other missing trader special jobs.
No!!! They made it so you have to craft every thing .. although a T5 in the wasteland gave me a gyro chassis ... i do not mind the change as it was too easy previously to bypass the crafting and just buy everything you needed .. its means progression has slowed and it is now important to do full looting early to build up the supplies for crafting ..
I guess I've been lucky. I'm doing a V1 play though and so far I've been looting or buying better armor/weapons than I can craft. Other than the starting stone tools/weapons and a bicycle and now a minibike I've crafted nothing. I'm sure my luck will change sooner or later ;)
