You probably need a group of people passionate about the sport, and make their own indie game, snd grow it from there. It's a waste of time waiting for EA sports to do anything.
As Indie companies start to eclipse the AAA money pits, and as gaming engines become more accessible to use/nicer to loot at, I can only hope there's an aspiring video game programmer out there who adores this sport & finally does the "fastest sport on two feet" some justice
Unfortunately, I haven't grown up playing lacrosse due to the country I live in, however I still love the sport, and I own a stick myself even just to wall ball. Wall ball is pretty theraupetic for me to be honest, it's called the medicine game for a reason. I am planning to move to the US soon, so I hope I'll be able to learn and find a team there!
What you said at the end is so true, lacrosse isn't in my area ( i live just outside of sydney in australia. I am working with the sydney based NSW lacrosse people to try and bring it to my area for kids and adults alike, something about this game just inspires people to work together for the growth of the game. Its quite inspiring
I’m glad you liked that part of the video! I’ve wanted to address it for a while, just didn’t really know how to. That’s so cool you’re trying to bring Lax to more Aussies, keep up the great work! These are the comments I love so much, they keep me going haha
I played for 7 years growing up, then fell off in high school, then covid but I would love to find some decent pick-up or town league for 20-30 year old kids who just want to play the game again
