The hood ain’t the only place we live but a most of us do. I’m from the hood but the only time you get recognized as a hood nikka is if you put in work or act a certain way. But if you from the hood you’re drone there regardless.
We as people have to get out of our comfort zone and travel. My son just left MOAB UTAH and there were black people there. They were NOT the majority but they are out there. I visited hung out and went hiking it was alright, not where I would pick to live coming from PHILLY but I can survive pretty much any where. I have a open mind. My son is 20 and he was there on a work assignment for 6 months and now he is moving to Grand Junction Colorado for another work opportunity. I am proud of him. I understand it is not the majority but baby we all OVER....
First wave of Black Men and Women went to denver in the 90s from LA. Im from Riverside Ca. I moved to denver in 2003 and started working at an Engineering firm. I was 20 making 60k per year. Before that i was in cali working in a Bar gettinf minimum wage. Denver is Old school. If you WORK, you can build/learn/grow/meet Others who are motivated. Music scene is killer. CONSTRUCTION WORK IS $$$$$$$$
Raised in the bello’s currently (unfortunately) in ATL went to high school briefly in Houston and I be looking at my own ppl like you can’t be that dumb to think that we didn’t even migrate during slavery to the hills our black history runs rich and deep it’s just sadly slept on but if you a real 5280 and took them field trips in elementary or was hearing shots while at city park Sunday and remember celebrity fun park off Co blvd then you know

More Mexicans in Colorado than anyone but Aurora has a lot of blacks lol Montbello in Denver too and they east side but not so much with gentrification. Springs is full of black people too.
@@deejay1216 - To be honest I’d love to move down South, Denver has gotten too expensive and overcrowded. Not sure about the job market as I have been retired 13 years now but when I was working they favored the college degree folks for the better paying jobs.😕 I’m in Northeast.
Job hunting has been the biggest issue.. I come for VA. The white ppl in Colorado are definitely nicer, but the lack of diversity in these offices is blatant! This is the hardest time I've ever had trying to find a job.

Bruh Colorado has a shit ton of gangs mostly the crips, especially in the springs, in Denver you have the 5 points aka the 5 different blocks all ruled by different gangs mostly crips, you have the gangster disciples, the bloods, the east side crips(a lot of different crip gangs 23 street in Denver and plenty of local gangs in Pueblo,Grand Junction, the springs, Denver and any of the city’s I forgot to mention

Yeah we don’t need you in our areas. Actually there’s plenty of space in Europe for you. You’d hardly see us in places like Russia. So basically anywhere outside of England,France,possibly Italy is ok for you.
But if you want to stay in the western world then Canada outside of Toronto is your best bet oh yeah and good amounts of Argentina you should probably learn Spanish though it would help in the long run. And last but not least, if you must stay in the states then I guess places like Montana,North Dakota,South Dakota-Oregon and Washington with the Seattle may work.

If you go to Denver to live.... You better make sure you have the funds. Apartments asking for Tenants to make 3x monthly rent to qualify. DTC (denver tech center) Data scientist folks all came from New york/san Francisco. They brought their 150k-200k per year income and denver prices shot up.
I’m born and raised there, my whole neighborhood was black till 2012. The city of Denver is 10% black, I’m just letting folks know where that 10% is at.

Please tell me how this is racist. The man was just letting people know where Black people are located in Denver because, apparently, some think there are none. Also, people can stop discussing race when race stops being a factor in the way people are treated in a system based on racial hierarchy.
