you do know there's twice as many Black men in college rather than jail, right? You knew this right? - 2-3 million Black men in college - almost 700,000 in jail AND on probation [which is really not jail, but they count it to boost their negative numbers]

The question is, how many of the black college student need to be put in jail?

I have looked up stats on the Internet for this topic. The numbers go all over the place. it depends on what you read. NBC Chicago says balck men in prison out number the college man by 5 times. Then other stats show the numbers to be almost even.. Mark Twain said it best " there are lies, there are damn lies and then there are statistics".

@erik4727 Agreed. But did Rupert Murdoch tell the Wayans to poke fun at hard(er) working Jamaicans? I think the Wayans' themselves are to blame for mocking hard(er) working Jamaicans. No denying the larger infrastructure, but in this case the Wayans bought into the stereotype that indirectly insulted American blacks.

@jlcfame I agree. Most people learn from TV, and this is what the white media puts into our heads through the television.

Meanwhile, "In Living Color" makes fun of other blacks, Jamaicans specifically, for having multiple jobs and a strong work ethic. Makes you think about the self-destructive strain within the American black community, itself. And makes you wonder why no one calls the Wayans out for this despicable hostility to what is clearly a positive attribute.
