I like these darts because they happen to work best in my Recon MK3 and my Infinus. I only had about 60 of these darts (they came from my Tomahawk 60 and my Blitzfire X2 pistols) so when I saw they were half off I had to get them.
I don't know if it's just me but recently the red diamond darts i been getting at my local target has some quality control issues when I put it through my Alpha Trooper,the foam gets sliced up and they have terrible ranges of around 50 feet. I also tested it in a flywheeler,the stryfe. The dart gets crushed and those that did not get crushed barely left the barrel before dropping. Until the quality control of the darts in my area return to it's former quality, I am sticking to accufakes or ekind waffles which strangely have better quality control and performance than this recent batch i been getting
This has an OFP 3D printed 42.5mm Cage with the original stock Nerf plastic wheels that came in the Stryfe and Meishel 2.0 motors. The stock Nerf wheels really help get this setup into that 115-120fps for playing HVZ.
That's a good price for good darts. I would like to pick up some of these though I still have SO many accufakes left. I've also heard that these have higher FPS in the same blaster compared to comparable (accufake/waffle tip) but haven't confirmed.
Just chronographed my mk3 on 3s and was getting numbers up to 170 averaging 167 FPS over 20 darts. With waffles I get about 158 to 162 so pretty interesting.
