@CymruCelt01 mate uk baits are no where near they were back in the 90s get a grip using crude ash fish meals and the flavours are nothing like they used to be and I live where all the top flavours came from louth but the usa can still get flavours that are made the old way not in some lab to complie with eu law you talk about scopex squid from nash that has 20% crude ash pml your bait you make might be good because you use quality ingredients but most baits sold in tackle shop like nash base mix is so shit they need strong and loads of liquid flavours to get the required effects I roll my own baits and because I live in the little town of rod hutchinson I have tried getting flavours like he used to from the rock and boiled sweet makers but non use old flavours all just lab made
