Bro the furry community is rich af we need some serious funding to take down the bad furries like asteroid mining witch will let us gather metals to build our warships and vehicles and guns and ammo and nukes, or we can manufacture goods like clothing, semiconductors, space marine plushies and lots of other goods like made in China stickers
@@dfer-yh9nd you do realise they Are humans too right? With human abilities, skills, instincts? Thats how some fursuiters make their own costume, sorry hun but you cant make a fursuit by only dancing
I believe self diagnosing is okay if done right, like self diagnosing OCD just because you're neat and a "clean freak" is harmful to yourself and people with actual OCD. And people diagonsing themself with antisocial personality disorder just because they are quiet and don't like socialising is especially harmful, it's not even the actual definition. As long as you do proper research and look at the DSM-5, it's okay but if you are like making it off of stereotypes, that's highly offensive and I suggest anyone doing that to stop. Sorry if my English is bad but I just wanted to share my opinion on self diagnosing
Derp. Honestly the good furs wouldn't care. We can be cringe. I honestly just like being myself. The fandom saved me from a couple things that I went through. I'll stop. Don't want to say too much. Take care and I'm curious what his opinion is.
Or youre a RU-vidr, happened to me, I made alot of videos and of course edited them but at some point you get used to it, beside older recordings like pre teenage years 💀
About the disorders one: That is why I say I have a HIGH RISK for OCD when people bring it up. That’s because I’m already clinically diagnosed with anxiety. My father’s line has OCD and Anxiety, so that adds to my risk along with a lot of the symptoms I have. Doctors are currently looking into it.
I have autism and I think I have ADHD so I'm saying I have ADHD. My friend and cousin who has ADHD says I have ADHD. I asked my friend if I have ADHD and she said "yes... You have autism and ADHD" and my cousin said to me AND my brother that we have the worst ADHD in the world. And one day I was going to ask my cousin a question and then I forget the question and she said, "jade I actually think you have ADHD" then I was pretending to not know what ADHD is and then she said that she has it and then explains it. My brother might have ocd because he's always last to get in line to say good game because he HAS to have his baseball stuff organised in his bag and me and my cousin thinks he has ocd.
Ok the first one depends… like a gender reveal that has like confetti or like they cut a cake and it has blue or pink colored candies, that’s not cringe. BUT SETTING A FOREST ON FIRE-
there’s a difference between “i have a lot of symptoms for it. i might have it, but i haven’t gotten checked out for it yet (/ can’t get checked out b/c of price, etc.)” and “i definitely have it, and i don’t need a doctor to tell me.” edit: it’s also not okay if you are diagnosed BUT you make it your whole personality. yes, it’s good to talk about it and spread awareness, but only at appropriate times, as people might get uncomfortable if they themselves have it or don’t have it
Exactly. Self-diagnosis is only cringe if the person is all like "I just saw a tiktok about adhd and I do that too so I must have adhd" or "I like things to be organised and clean so I MUST have ocd" The people who do research on the disorders and others that have similar symptoms before self diagnosing (either to let a medical professional know what they think, or because they don't have access to a medical professional) are SO valid.
To be honest it depends on the disorder. My anorexia was clear as day. I wasn't eating, I was healthy otherwise, had a fear of gaining weight, super underweight... Later on I did got diagnosed tho
I have all the symptoms for OCD. I self diagnosed myself. Went to a doctor and was actually diagnosed with it. Tried to receive help but therapist wasn’t helping. Now I realize stress activates compulsive thoughts and feelings

@@MaLexTIdE venting is fine but they should also be seeking therapy or learn other coping skills. they dont need to post pictures of themselves. its a waste of time and tbh not everyone is going to give a shit. - sincerely a depressed person.
@@foxes8336 Well if their parents don't give a shit about their mental health , don't give them therapy , or tell them that it is just in their head and their only coping method is venting
I feel like with the self diagnosis, it can be annoying but at the same time, a lot of people cannot get a diagnosis so looking online and self diagnosing is the only way. While it’s cringe when people say they have mental disabilities when they really don’t but otherwise it’s kinda controversial
Not to mention that official diagnoses for certain disorders or conditions can unfortunately open you up to hiring discrimination and having your rights taken away.
Well i bet many of you think of the stereotypical version of us furrys, but there are a part of normal people of us too- edit: owww ma gawd i have fame. i wanna ratio the haters tho 💀
Self diagnosing is so cringe and lame. So I have Autism and ADHD and I have an IEP so I can have fidgets and gum in class even when others cannot. Some kid in one of my classes asked why I was allowed to have those thing sand I explained about my disorders. She said okay and came back the next day and said "I think I have autism" And I was like "Okay why?" and she said something like "I looked up the symptoms and one said staying in your room a lot and I do that" I was confused and said "Was that the only thing?" and she said yes. I basically told her if that was the only symptom she had the chances of her having autism were pretty unlikely. Yeah she got really mad at me... Edit: self diagnosing like some of the people who replied to me is completely fine. I was talking mostly about people who self diagnose just to follow a trend and/or be quirky. Or like the type of thing the girl in the story did. Sorry everyone!
I think it's okay to think that you have depression or anxiety because the thing is that it's expensive to have a diagnosis so many people can't afford it. So you can't say that you have depression but you can say you think you have it (in my opinion).
I get what you’re saying. I don’t know what you think of furries, but most of them are aware that they’re weird and cringe. Furries don’t usually take huge offense to comments like that, but god do well-meaning, passive furries get flamed online by people who despise them for being alive. I’d consider the arguments going on in this comments section entertaining if they weren’t so pointless.
@@a-wild-goose probably safer for me to say this here because people don't look at the replies that much, but I actually am a furry, and I totally agree with you.
Look I don't hate furries because of their looks. It's how those people act, like they seek attention. Also trying convince people that furries are cute, they aren't. The community is just f*cked up
He really wanted to say it, but he knew he gonna be cancelled before the video gets uploaded I'm tired of people thinking I'm talking about anime, im talking about FURRYS
I’ve never heard something so true about fans of anime bc there are some who like watch it normally then those who make it their entire personality and style and um those guys over there👀
I have a friend that is trying so hard to be a weeb. Speaking some generic anime lines (most of the time he said "yamete" and "kimochi" in a lewd way repeatedly which is annoying) and singing anime OP but he is just saying gibberish.
@@teachmehowtofard2849 You can't negate someone's opinion, then state it's their opinion and that the matters is purely subjective 💀 Logic doesn't work like that bro.
For the self-diagnosing it actually depends. There are just people that goes "ah yes I am depressed and have adhd" and go tell to anybody online like it was something to show off. There is the other case, for people like me, who have some symptoms or little hits that may led you to believe you have Adhd, but since there is no possibility to do a checkup, you just live with this doubt. And sometimes people mistake you for the one who wants to show off a illness, and it's quite annoying
Not really I told abt 2 people abt my abusif parent aka dad he's very nice to me rn but 2 years befor he wasn't- it was very good crying and talking to somone for once the 2 time was with somone who got the same thing but with there mom I'm still friends with one of them :) and being a minor doesn't change anything
I have diagnosed adhd, people that think they have adhd get frustrated when I don’t have my work done in school and they tell me to try harder because they think they know what it’s like.
i “self diagnosed” bpd because i knew i had it the second i did my research. now i’m professionally diagnosed. there’s a difference between full on self diagnosing. and being concerned that you have a disorder.
Indeed true. Like I don’t like people whose whole personality is based on an anime and they’re obsessing over it 24/7. I respect anime as an art form but I just don’t like it’s fanbase that much.
@@theorphanobliterator I agree but that doesn’t mean it can’t be cringe. Like the anime Diabolik Lovers, you can’t tell me that’s not cringe. People can still enjoy cringe content.
Yeah I’ve actually been diagnosed with ADD by a doctor and the amount of people I meet who say they have it when they haven’t gotten it medically diagnosed and obviously don’t have it is crazy
Yeppers. As someone also medically diagnosed with these it makes me mad that these disorders are categorized as just "small inconveniences to life", because they're not. Most people with either of these become isolated early in childhood and the coming years & sometimes later in life so it is and always will be a life-changing thing to be diagnosed with unfortunately. People who self-diagnose put these serious mental disorders into two categories: ADHD: #1: "You can't pay attention sometimes xD your so quirky" #2: "You're hyper and crazy and have a lot of energy and are annoying" And OCD: #1: "You like everything perfectly neat and clean" #2: "you're so cool and quirky and like things to be neat and organized" To pple without these disorders these stereotypes are only maybe a quarter of the actuality of the entire disorder, leaving over 75% of the mental disorder unexplained and brushed off and ignored by society, basically ignored most of the actual terrible symptoms of them.
As someone that actually does have Adhd it pisses me the off that people fake it while I have to deal with losing focus, having to do work longer because I’m afraid I missed something, and my hand coordination skills is not that great (in video games)
I have ADHD too. This does also piss me off and when I have to tell someone I do, it becomes awkward and nerve racking because so many ppl fake it and I have had it where someone will think I’m faking it too. They laugh it off like they legit think I’m faking it.
@@Sillymonkeycat Well, I guess all three of us have ADHD than. ISTG, I see a whole classroom of people in school each day pretending to have ADHD. I might sound a bit judgmental but when you see them pretend to have ticks and fidgets only to laugh about ADHD afterwards, it gets annoying.
Idk if it's considered "self diagnosis" but I looked up what adhd is and I match all the symptoms so I really do think I have adhd but if you think it's cringe I can't change your mind(I don't have the chance to go to the doctor so the closest thing I can get is Google) I already know the reply everybody is gonna say "Google is not accurate" I understand that
Personally I think self diagnosis can be a good start to an actual diagnosis. I don't think people should necessarily rely on self diagnosis nor should they try to get any accommodations from a self diagnosis. But recognizing the signs on yourself can lead to discussions with someone who can give you an actual diagnosis. It can be especially tough for adults whose parents were too prideful to believe they could have a child with a disorder so they never got tested as a child.
My friend and I tried to do a Go Fund Me for "Constructual Perposes" even though we were just trying to get enough money to buy a warehouse, find furries, put them in it and light it on fire.
