A barret is a sniper rifle chambered in 50 caliber BMG. It usually a AT sniper rifle. A MGL means Medium Grenade launcher (I think) and it is a rapid fire grenade launcher with many bullets.

I used to play pixel starships a loooong time ago and had a bunch of rare and event stuff and got super far in the game but when I got a new phone it deleted all my stuff so I never played it again :(
