I won 6 little tins of Burt's Bee's Wax lip Balms for $ 3 total. I listed them at 2for 19.59, I took two best offers of $14 and one sold full price, all plus shipping! All sold within 5 days of each other.
Wow! Thank you SO much for this video! It’s really got me thinking outside the box for items to sell. I really appreciate it and will be forwarding this video to a friend of mine!
I really like the term/phrase "Reselling Rolodex"! I have a vintage marigold yellow Dixie cup holder bolted to a cabinet from the former owners of my house. I wonder if I should pry that thing off :-)
Be careful. It might be integral to the structure. 😂 (that’s a joke from the office, after Jim bought Pam a house and tried to take an old painting off the wall that would not budge!)
I wish I had some of that stuff in my household right now, but I don’t unfortunately. I have seen the wipe containers as a bolo, but I’ve never found them in the wild. And I remember those little Dixie cups in our camper as a child. If I had all the little stuff from my childhood, I would be a rich rich woman.
So… I’ve collected vinyl baby dolls since I was 9 years old, and would buy real baby clothes, blankets, baby food, diapers, etc for them. I still have completely unused and unopened packs of baby diapers, baby wipes, bottles, pacifiers, & jars of baby food from the early 90’s (i know, the baby food is long expired and I can’t sell them… on eBay, a least) and hadn’t really thought about them. Watching this video, I pulled out my packs of diapers. Imagine my surprise when I found out just 3 diapers - “pre-owned”, not used but not in great condition - went for $60! And I have multiple packs with the same characters on them, and others, with even more collectible characters on them that I can’t even find a single listing for on eBay!! 😱😱😱 Wow. I’m thinking of just listing a few of the ones I have from an opened pack to see how they do. I rarely even play with my baby dolls anymore and have wanted to sell some of my older ones. But I had no idea that the DIAPERS I bought for my DOLLS would end up being worth more than some of the dolls! Amazing.
Excellent info, as always! Thanks so much Do you sell ephemera? I would love to see tips how these items are shipped(to get a tracking number and to arrive to buyer securely 😊
I have done so in the past. Still have a bunch. We used stay flat envelopes. Now eBay has categories such as trading cards and postcards that can use a better shipping rate - but it’s very specific categories.
Great info! Im old enough to remember all these when they were new. The food scrap bags were a great invention. Ours had a wire frame but the bags were a smart design with the tear off tie to close the bag instead of horrible twist ties. My mom found nd it easier to scrape into the trash for a family of 6 buy I liked them. Gr at for crafting too. Then we got a garbage disposal and never needed these again. I found a box when cleaning out 20 years of storage recently...wonder where they went. I just tossed floor polish out! We found mouse traces under the sink so I emptied the cupboard and tossed what hadnt been used in years. That was Sun and garbage came yesterday, otherwise Id be dumping the bin over right now, lol. I have Dixie cups, just need to check sizes. We used a dispenser in the br so we always picked up cups when we found them cheap. Ka-ching! Wonder where the dispenser is......hmmmm. Well, off to find cups even tho its still over 105 here. Its 95 in my ebay room, no AC. Got to feed the kitten too.
@@pishposhreselling I found a sealed box of 200 3 oz, a 5 oz dispenser that came with 15 cups AND a bag of loose 3 oz cups! This helps clean off the rack we store paper products on. I still have another dispenser to look for.
I found a vintage pink dixie cup dispenser NIP at a sale and sold it for good money. I know someone who actually took one off the wall at a estate sale!
My mind is officially blown. I loved the little scrap bags too but hades will have frozen solid before I pay $200 for five boxes. That said, I’ll be paying more attention from now on. Thank you for a great video
