I loved Map of the Otherlands, I think I actually enjoyed it even more than the first book! Emily and Wendell are just my favorite and I also would love for this series to go on forever haha
Yes, the Obelisk Gate, let's go! It's one of the middle books every made for sure and I can't promise you'll like the Stone Sky (the new POV continues and there are flashbacks that are quite vague sometimes) but I hope you do ❤🐶 For me it was the easiest, the more "no notes" five stars I've ever given 😄
It's not just one anime that has giant robots being piloted by humans - it's a whole genre known as mecha anime 😊 Some of the most well known mecha franchises include Evangelion and Gundam.
you gave me motivation to finish the broken earth trilogy. my partner and I started buddy reading it! we loved the first two, but we didn't want it to end so I never got around to the third one. now I need to reread everything lol 🐶🐶
I wanted to love Yours Truly but it just wasn't EVERYTHING... Maybe I shouldn't have skipped out on Part Of Your World. I love Jacob and the letters and that SO MUCH! WHYYYY GOD WHYYY DID IT FLOP. Okay I'm done being dramatic hahah
Oh. Em. Gee. We are exact opposites! Loved Yours Truly and Heartless (read 3 times since last summer) and could not get into Emily Wilde at all - I DNF'D it! 😂
I just read the Emily Wildes and had a really good time! I actually thought the second book was kind of a disappointment compared to the first for reasons that would require me to write a novel in your replies but anyway I still liked it a lot and after I was done I had a moment where I went, “aw. I’m not reading Emily Wilde anymore.” 🐶
Yeah I liked the first book more too! The characters had good moments but since Wendell was sick for a lot of it I missed him. But I'm excited for book 3!!
I only pick the books based on what’s available at the stores There’s one I recommend and it’s a 2-book series: Legends and Latte It’s like Cottage Core DnD with Karlach and her pets
