I was saved because of Bible prophecy. I couldn’t deny any long that only God, the God of heaven, could predict future events without fail and thus authenticate his Word. Once I concluded that the Bible was truth it was illogical to me to not accept the free gift that the Son offered. That’s how the Lord got to a stubborn engineer. He appealed to my logical thinking. Anyway that’s my testimony and I’m sticking to it.

He said, "Tell everyone to read from Jeremiah 51:8-15, Revelation chapter 18, and Zechariah chapter 14, where Christ fights against those who possess the earth. After His victory," the angel said, "there will be one flock and one Shepherd. There will be no need for light. The Lamb of God will be the Light. There will be no sickness, no tears, and no deaths. There will only be eternal joy and God will be the ruler. There will be only one language. Only one song. And no need for a translator! ... And, Dumitru," he continued, "a word of warning. If you keep anything from the American people that you are told, I will punish you severely." "How will I know that this is for real -that it will really happen?" I asked. "As a sign that I have spoken to you, tomorrow before you wake, I will send someone to bring you a bed, and at noon I will send you a car and a bucket of honey. After which I will send someone to pay your rent." The next day someone brought Dumitru a bed, and at noon a car arrived with the bucket of honey. His rent was also paid, as God had promised him. I keep remembering Revelation 3:9...I traced my roots to Norway, Germany, Scotland, back to the 1200's and the Tribe of Dan, and Levites. Levites became druids, for a "mystical reason unknown" and became Christian by order of the King, and Pope. What does this make me if my blood goes back on both sides to one or two of the Israelite tribes? Did the Levites carry the Arc of the Covenant?

So I agree the chronology matters because in order for it to be the Prophecy of Jonah/John 2:19 then it needs to be three days and three nights. Unfortunately this does not work in a Friday afternoon death. There is literally no way to make the math work unless Yeshua was lying and personally I don’t think he was lying. Passover is done on Nissan 14 at dusk. The Passover remembrance ends and then that evening begins the first of a 7 day festival of unleavened bread. The first and last days are held as a Sabbath. There is a preparation day for Passover. The lambs are brought in and for five days reviewed for perfection and then on the fifth day slaughtered. Palm Sunday is when they were led in at the same time as Yeshua. Five days later at 3 pm they are slaughtered and put on the spit. 3 pm is important as it is the time that the Gospels say Yeshua died. The spit is important because Yahweh says don’t break a bone of the lamb. Now there is also a preparation day for Unleavened Bread. The preparation day involves removing all the leaven from the house. Cleaning everything from top to bottom every utensil every bowl everything. Seems to me that a Friday death does not work additionally you never quoted any scripture that said Friday. In addition in the culture at the time your spirit hovered over the body for three days before finally departing. Someone wasn’t actually dead then until day three. This is why Yeshua waited to raise up Lazarus on day 4 the timing was important.
