As far as legality is concerned, recording of conversations/meetings is covered by the Criminal Code of Canada (Section 184), so it is the same throughout the country. Only one party to the conversation/meeting needs to agree to the meeting/conversation being recorded. That one party can be you if you are part of that conversation/meeting. Recording third party without authorization will get you into trouble.
New version I hope sorts the pen as I do think with it done right and better camera this could be great item for alot of people. Not many people would think a pen would be useful as a spy gadget. Other camera looked decent and very small so I'd have it hidden watching certain areas out side or in side. Pen I was hoping would be good so I do like this idea. Pens are good if you like a lot of anxiety everytime you end up having to talk to someone who is less than five feet in front of you. You think they noticed it 99% of the time. That's the problem with these types of discreet body cams.
